Just a heads-up – I’m about to talk about what happened in the latest episode of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, specifically the “Trust” episode, so be warned, there will be spoilers! If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend checking it out on Hulu before reading on, because I’m going to dive right into the details!
From surprising eliminations to genuinely frightening challenges, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test consistently delivers exciting television. I’m already looking forward to Season 4, and it’s definitely on my list of shows to watch in 2025—particularly after a hilarious trust exercise that had me in stitches.
I thought the remaining celebrities had learned not to bother the staff, but I was happily surprised to be wrong. While it was fun to watch, I imagine some of the trainees felt embarrassed and frustrated by the unexpected choice they made in this episode.
The Cadets Snuck Snacks Meant For The DS Staff
The problem began when Chanel Aman and Gia Giudice found a box of treats in the mess hall. Randall Cobb then saw it and thought the staff were offering the cast an apology for being strict, so he shared the snacks with everyone except Aman. It was only after distributing them that they realized a sign indicated the snacks were actually for the DS Staff, and they quickly tried to cover it up.
The cadets didn’t realize the box of snacks had been deliberately left by Directing Staff member Rudy. He wanted to see if they could be trusted not to eat the treats meant for their superiors. Later, Rudy collected the box and found it was almost entirely empty, with only a few candies remaining.
The cast didn’t succeed in the challenge, so they had to endure a cold nighttime dunking. Some who failed were also made to sit in an outside cell while the others were allowed to dry off. Aman, because he was the only one who skipped the snack, avoided the punishment.
I’m Shocked Any Of Them Thought This Was A Good Idea
Without the serious consequences, it honestly felt like the show Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test was staging this for effect. I’m shocked anyone on this season’s cast thought they could pull this off, or even risk touching something they weren’t authorized to handle.
More On Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test
Season 4 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test saw Jussie Smollett eliminated, and the moment proved surprisingly emotional.
It was hard not to laugh watching everyone act like they weren’t on a TV show. Even if they did take the snacks, did they honestly think they’d get away with it? They were being filmed the instant they discovered the box!
No one was happy about having to do that punishment, particularly after such a tough day. We’d already gone through two really difficult challenges that left everyone stressed and exhausted. If I had to jump into cold water after all that, and then be left to freeze in a cell, I probably would have quit. To be honest, I might have considered quitting even before the punishment began.
