Coronation Street‘s new family, The Driscolls, have already kicked up quite a stir on the cobbles.
Maggie, the family matriarch (played by Pauline McLynn), has caused some tension with her son Benâs girlfriend, Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley). Meanwhile, Benâs younger brother, Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale), doesnât seem eager to make Weatherfield his home.
The teenager was expected to arrive on Monday, but when his brother, Ollie Akuwudike, went to pick him up at Victoria Station, he wasn’t there.
Ben discovered a love note among his possessions, so he traveled back to their former house in Hull to find the writer. Meanwhile, Maggie told Eva that if anything were to happen to her grandson, she would blame Eva directly.

Ben came back to the Rovers with worrying news: no one had seen Will, and they needed to contact the police. Unbeknownst to them, Will was actually hiding just across the street, in the entrance of Preston’s Petals.
He slipped into the beer garden and ran into Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner). He offered her twenty pounds to get his passport back from inside.

It was unexpected, but Lily, despite her background, chose to do the right thing and warn Ben and Eva about what had occurred. However, when they hurried outside to look for him, he had already run away.
It didn’t take long for him to return, looking dejected, with his athletics coach, Megan (Beth Nixon), beside him. She explained sheâd discovered him sleeping in the changing rooms and had given him a ride back to the Driscollsâ house.
Ben and Eva were very grateful and offered to pay Megan for her help, but she firmly refused and quickly left.

Once Sarah was gone, Willâs parents started pressing him about the love note and why he needed his passport. Will wouldnât tell them, but Ben was determined to find out.
As Eva was drawing him a bath, Will slipped outside to see Megan. They embraced, and she explained that running away together wasn’t possible right now, but she was trying to find a solution so they could be together.
Will Ben and Eva realise their son is being groomed?
