Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 officially launches worldwide in one week! As a continuation of the popular Black Ops storyline that began with Black Ops 6 in 2024, it’s expected to be a top-selling first-person shooter on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation 5, even with strong competition from Battlefield 6. Being available on Xbox Game Pass should attract many players, although it might slightly lower overall sales, similar to what happened with the previous game.
Many gamers are starting to feel tired of the yearly Call of Duty releases, but Black Ops 7 is trying something new to keep players engaged. It features modes and gameplay types never before seen in the series, like ‘Endgame’ – a large-scale, cooperative mode where up to 32 players can team up or play alone in an open world.
Endgame will include typical mission-based gameplay with challenging bosses, items to find, and a high-stakes system where you risk losing all your gear if you fail to evacuate. The developers, Treyarch and Raven Software, also intend to regularly add new content and updates to keep the game fresh.
We haven’t seen much about this new game mode yet – details like the Avalon map and specific gameplay features are still a mystery. However, a recent leak from the developers of Black Ops 7 reveals a big reveal is coming soon. We now know it’s scheduled for Monday, November 10th, just a few days before Black Ops 7 officially launches.
On Friday afternoon, the Call of Duty news site CharlieIntel noticed that Activision mistakenly published a blog post ahead of schedule. The post was intended to go live on Sunday, November 9th.
The post was removed shortly after being published, but a captured screenshot shows that a full reveal of the Campaign Endgame mode for Black Ops 7 is planned for November 10th. This will include a developer discussion video and an in-depth blog post for fans.
The leaked information reveals that you’ll need to finish the first 11 missions in the campaign to access Endgame, and it also gives some background on what the story for that mode will be about.

Once players finish the first 11 missions in the Co-op Campaign, they’ll unlock Endgame. This new challenge sends JSOC to explore the large areas of Avalon, where they must destroy the last of The Guild’s bases while also fighting through areas contaminated by a strange, dangerous toxin that’s spreading throughout the city.
In the games Black Ops 2 and Black Ops: Cold War, players support JSOC, which stands for Joint Special Operations Command. Opposing them is The Guild, a criminal group that expands into a powerful company. The conflict between JSOC and The Guild takes place in Avalon, a fictional city located in the Mediterranean.

I’ve never been a big fan of Call of Duty – I don’t really enjoy the fast pace, quick kills, and overall chaos. However, as someone who loves playing co-op shooters with friends, the new Endgame mode sounds really interesting and I’d probably give it a try.
I’m not usually into Call of Duty, but the new Endgame mode sounds really fun, especially as a co-op experience with friends. I’d definitely give it a try.
I probably wouldn’t buy Black Ops 7 at full price, but luckily I don’t have to! As a PC Game Pass member, I can play it on release day. If you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – the most complete version of the service – you can do the same on both Xbox and PC.
If you’re a dedicated Call of Duty player who enjoys all game modes – including Zombies, the campaign, multiplayer, and Warzone – you’ll probably buy Black Ops 7 regardless of whether it includes the Endgame content. If that sounds like you, you can pre-order the game now from retailers like Amazon and Best Buy.
