Even though December is still over a week away, Disney+ is already sharing what new movies and shows subscribers can look forward to next month. Yesterday, they announced the full December lineup, with the return of a popular original series being a major highlight.
The biggest new show coming to Disney+ in December is Percy Jackson and the Olympians, with Season 2 launching on December 10th. The season will start with two episodes released at once, and new episodes will then be available weekly, also on Hulu.

Disney+’s Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation follows Yu, a normal high school student who unexpectedly finds himself in the magical world of Twisted-Wonderland. There, he encounters monsters and students learning magic, all while being unable to use magic himself. The story centers around whether Yu can discover a way to return home.
Get ready for new episodes of Miraculous Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir (Season 6)! The show follows Marinette and Adrien, two high school students who transform into the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir. Together, they protect Paris from the evil Hawk Moth!
RoboGobo presents two holiday adventures! In “Frost-ival of Lights,” Dax and Allie help a family of ducks navigate a snowstorm using lights to guide them. Then, in “Hoppy Holidays,” the RoboGobo team must recover stolen Christmas presents from Gimme Pig before Christmas morning arrives.
December 5th
Okay, so I just watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw on Disney+, and it’s the third story from Jeff Kinney’s hugely popular books brought to life as an animated movie. This time around, Greg Heffley is clashing with his dad, who wants him to shape up. It’s a pretty funny ride as Greg stumbles through one mishap after another, and eventually, his dad lays down the law – basically telling him he needs to change his ways. It’s a classic story about a kid trying to meet his father’s expectations, and it delivers some good laughs along the way.
The new season of The Great Christmas Light Fight kicks off with the Palusso, Greason, and Jimenez families battling it out for a $50,000 prize and the title of champion, as judged by Carter Oosterhouse. Get ready for some spectacular holiday light displays!

Taylor Swift’s concert film, The Eras Tour | The Final Show, premieres soon. It was filmed in Vancouver, B.C., during the last concert of the tour and includes her complete performance of songs from The Tortured Poets Department, which she added to the show after the album came out in 2024.
