Ryan Reynolds isn’t revisiting Clint Eastwood’s films Every Which Way But Loose or Any Which Way You Can as previously thought. Instead, he’s focusing on a remake of Eastwood’s 1974 movie Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, which also starred Jeff Bridges. Reynolds’ production company, Maximum Effort, is partnering with Amazon-MGM for the project. Reynolds is writing the script alongside Enzo Mileti and Scott Wilson (known for their work on Fargo) and is also considering starring in the film. This remake will be the first feature film directed by Shane Reid, the editor of Deadpool & Wolverine.
