As a huge Spider-Man fan, I was blown away seeing some early concept art from Kal Athannassov! He posted it on Instagram, and it shows what Peter, MJ, and Ned almost looked like in the animated series. It’s wild because they ended up looking a lot like their live-action counterparts from the latest Spider-Man movies! You can check out the art below – it’s a cool glimpse into how things could have been.

John Carpenter’s 2001 sci-fi horror film, Ghosts of Mars, became available on Tubi on April 1st. Set in 2176, the story follows a Martian police team led by Lt. Melanie Ballard as they travel to a distant mining town to pick up a prisoner. They soon discover the miners have been taken over by angry, ancient Martian spirits, turning them into brutal killers, and the team must fight for their lives.

Recently, the cancellation of Gen V came as a surprise. This Prime Video series, a spin-off of The Boys set at a college for superheroes, seemed to be gaining momentum and even surpassing the original show in popularity. While The Boys universe hasn’t been a massive hit overall – the animated series Diabolical only lasted one season – Gen V showed real promise. Despite the main Boys series nearing its end, the franchise still has potential with the upcoming prequel Vought Rising, starring Jensen Ackles, and a new series planned to be set in Mexico.

Good news for fans of Peasant Aristocrat! A fourth season of the anime, also known as Hyakusho Kizoku, is officially in production. The show is a funny take on the author, Rumiko Takahashi’s, own experiences working on a farm in Hokkaido before becoming a manga artist. Instead of a straightforward autobiography, the story cleverly features a cow with glasses as the main character, covering a seven-year period of her life. The original manga is quite popular too, with over five million copies sold, proving the series has a dedicated following.

He then mentioned some ideas that ultimately didn’t happen.

Since the prequel films, Star Wars stories have increasingly shown us the details of how the Republic fell and the Empire rose to power. Star Wars: The Clone Wars especially highlighted the events leading to this downfall, including the pivotal moment of Order 66, which was essential for the Empire’s rise and control. However, looking back, it’s become clear that the Empire ultimately failed in its goals.

The initial Villainous UA for Dungeons & Dragons added new options for four classes—Cleric, Druid, Fighter, and Sorcerer—giving players a wider range of character types to choose from. Players could create Clerics devoted to a Domain of Pestilence, focusing on poison, or Druids of the Circle of the Titan, who transform into enormous, powerful natural forces. Fighters gained the option to become Hell Knights, drawing strength from the fires of the underworld, and Sorcerers could tap into the magic of infamous Demon Lords through the Demonic Sorcery subclass.
