Yacht Club Games has been developing this game for a long time, ever since it was first revealed in 2022.

Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, formerly the lead quest designer for CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, told GamesRadar he prefers game settings that are more contained and where player choices have a noticeable impact.

The game continues to emphasize social stealth, just as Ubisoft Singapore explained last week. Players can still blend in by sitting on benches and concealing themselves with their hood. They can also bribe people to create diversions, which always adds to the fun of sneaking around. Plus, the ability to crouch whenever and wherever you want makes stealth even more appealing.

In an interview with CBR, Joe Russo discussed how he and his brother Anthony altered Spider-Man’s origin story for his introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War. Russo, a lifelong Spider-Man fan, explained that he connected with the idea of a young person burdened with great responsibility. He felt that responsibility could be powerfully portrayed through the accidental death of a loved one, creating a sense of loss and pressure. However, the filmmakers decided not to make Tom Holland’s Spider-Man responsible for Uncle Ben’s death, believing it would fundamentally change the character. Russo felt blaming himself would create a much darker and more intense portrayal than they were aiming for.

This episode is packed with drama, as Mikey and Richie both act out. They spend the time drinking, using drugs, playing basketball, and getting into heated arguments with some kids. Things escalate until Mikey explodes, telling Richie he’ll be a bad father. It’s a messy, funny, and heartbreaking sequence – exactly the kind of emotionally complex storytelling The Bear excels at. Adding to the tension is a strict deadline: Richie needs to be home by 5:15 pm, the predicted time of Tiff’s (Gillian Jacobs) labor, mirroring the time her own mother went into labor.

Instead of continuing the story from Gears of War 5, the next game, Gears of War: E-Day, will actually be a prequel. It goes back to the very beginning – the events of Emergence Day, which started the war between humans and the Locust. This decision could be a problem, as it might diminish the progress the newer games have made and potentially harm a subtle but important part of the game’s backstory.
