The new Resident Evil Veronica game is set to launch in 2027, likely by the end of March to align with the company’s financial year. Its reveal was surprisingly simple – unlike previous trailers that featured elaborate action sequences, it begins with Claire Redfield calmly arriving at the building where her brother, Chris, is staying.

It’s definitely possible to enjoy a game while still feeling immersed in its fantasy world, and Fatekeeper manages that well. However, despite a beautiful world and great lighting effects, the actual combat feels a bit lacking, especially since it’s the main focus of the gameplay. This is the case for now, but there’s more to discuss on that point.

For twenty years, the God of War series has primarily followed Kratos. While Atreus has become more prominent in recent games, the story still centers on Kratos and his relationships. Other characters are developed through their connection to him, rather than having stories of their own that influence his path.

The game showcases several features not found in the original Halo: Combat Evolved or its Anniversary edition.
