Google recently noticed an update to the archive of Nintendo Direct presentations, which Famiboards also reported. This sparked speculation about a new Direct announcement, but so far, nothing has happened. However, this isn’t unusual. It’s happened before – back in January 2021, the archive was updated multiple times, leading to confusion among Nintendo Switch fans. While no Direct aired in January, one followed shortly after in February. This raises the question of whether those updates and the subsequent Direct were connected. If so, it could suggest a new Nintendo Direct is on the way in June.
