We’ve recently seen some exciting new heroes appear, such as Absolute Catwoman and Absolute Zatanna. However, there are still many other great heroes waiting to be introduced. While there’s no need to rush things, it would be fantastic to eventually see more allies team up with Absolute Superman, Flash, and the rest, and explore the challenges this universe has in store. Here are 5 heroes we definitely need to see join the Absolute Universe!

Ari Aster’s film Beau Is Afraid, a strange, funny, and sad movie from A24, is leaving HBO Max soon. Starring Joaquin Phoenix, the film follows a worried man as he travels home to see his mother, played by Patti LuPone, and faces his biggest anxieties. Despite being a critically acclaimed film, it didn’t perform well at the box office, and will no longer be available to stream after December 13th, so now’s the time to check it out if you haven’t already.

This highlights the toughest villains Miles Morales has faced as Spider-Man.

I’m so excited to dive into some truly amazing anime! What I love is when creators come up with completely original stories just for the medium – these aren’t adaptations, they’re born as anime, and that really shines through. Let’s take a closer look at some of these masterpieces!

Brenton Thwaites, who played Robin, is enthusiastic about the potential for the character to return in James Gunn’s new DC Universe. He’s been a fan of Robin for a while and believes a new film could really explore the fantastical world of Batman and Gotham. He notes that Robin hasn’t been a major focus on the big screen – aside from brief appearances in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and the ‘Titans’ series – and feels there’s a great opportunity to do something special with the character. Thwaites expressed his trust in Gunn’s vision, saying he believes Gunn consistently delivers quality work, even if he isn’t involved in the project himself.

Despite the first film’s release months ago, Ufotable hasn’t announced any details about the second part, which will likely continue the battle against the demons. A report on X (formerly Twitter) in September 2025, shortly after the U.S. premiere, suggested a possible live-action adaptation by Netflix, fueled by the success of the first movie. While nothing is confirmed, Zach Aguilar, the English voice actor for Tanjiro Kamado, is optimistic about a live-action series.
