As a big fan of atmospheric horror, I’d say you can totally enjoy the Backrooms movie without having seen the original shorts online. But honestly, if you want the full picture – to really understand why things get so crazy in the final act and what that ending is actually about – checking out those shorts first will give you a much deeper appreciation for the story Parsons created. It just adds so much context!

Amazon Game Studios announced that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will be released on February 12, 2027, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. During a visit to the set of the Supergirl movie last year, we found out that while the film will largely follow the story of the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic by Tom King and Bilquis Evely, there will be one key difference. Instead of seeing Milly Alcock’s Kara Zor-El in her classic Supergirl suit for most of the movie, she’ll spend a lot of time wearing everyday clothes – like the jeans and t-shirt seen in the trailers. Executive producer Chantal Nong Vo explained this is intentional; Kara isn’t actively working as Supergirl when she’s off Earth.
