29 Years Later, Star Wars’ Next Movie Officially Makes a Major Empire Story Canon Again

The return of the Empire is a developing storyline set during the time of The Mandalorian. In Season 1 of Ahsoka, Lars Mikkelsen’s Grand Admiral Thrawn came back from exile in another galaxy, and he’s likely uniting various warlords as part of a larger plan. While Thrawn hasn’t appeared yet in The Mandalorian and Grogu, his schemes probably started there. One thing is clear: a significant Imperial storyline is officially part of the Star Wars universe again.

So Far, D&D Is Leaning Into 3rd Party Content in 2026 (And It Might Not Be a Bad Thing)

The world of Dungeons & Dragons has seen a lot of upheaval recently. Beyond the updated rules coming in 2024 and the new approaches to sourcebooks planned for 2025, several experienced people on the D&D team at Wizards have moved on. This led to a shift in how D&D is managed and some new faces joining the team. Considering all this change, it’s understandable that Wizards might release less official content this year – and that could actually be a positive thing in several ways.

PSP Game From 2006 Returning With New Release on PS5 and PS4

I was so excited to hear PlayStation is bringing back Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection! This version of Tekken 5 first hit arcades, and then came to the PSP back in 2006. Everyone loved it – it was considered one of the best fighting games you could play on the PlayStation Portable. And now, next month on March 17th, we’ll be able to play it on PS5 and PS4! It’s awesome to see a classic like this make a comeback.

10 Perfect 1990s Anime Masterpieces No One Remembers

The 1990s produced many iconic anime like Neon Genesis Evangelion and Ghost in the Shell. But while those titles remain popular, a lot of other great anime from that decade have been largely forgotten, remembered only by dedicated fans. These shows may not be famous, but they absolutely deserve more recognition from the anime community.

HBO Max Is About To Lose One of 2024’s Best Movies

As a big fan of the Mad Max films, I was bummed to hear that Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is leaving HBO Max on February 15th. It arrived on the platform last July, and while it didn’t do amazing numbers at the box office – earning $174 million with a $168 million budget – I thought it was a really solid entry in the series. Plus, critics seemed to agree, giving it a “Certified Fresh” rating with a 90% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Audiences loved it too, with an 88% rating! It’s a shame it’s going, but hopefully it’ll be available elsewhere soon.

7 Sci-Fi Movies So Bad They’re Actually Good

There’s no lack of delightfully bad sci-fi movies – we owe a lot of those to the cheesy B-movies of the 1950s and early 60s! But some stand out as particularly awful… yet strangely enjoyable. Here are seven of them, and honestly, a few are better than we remember.
