For me, Christmas doesn’t really begin until I’m settled in with a cozy night in front of the TV, and honestly, a big part of that tradition is always the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special. It just feels so festive!
Wow, what a weekend! Fresh off Karen Carney and Carlos Gu’s win last fall, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ is back with a festive special, and we’ve just crowned another champion! It was a dazzling night, and a new name has been added to the show’s history books.
Scarlett Moffatt and Vito Coppola won this year’s Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special! They excited the judges with their Cha Cha, performed to Cher’s “DJ Play a Christmas Song.”
The judges gave them a perfect score of 40, and the studio audience also voted them as the winners.

When asked about winning the Christmas competition, Scarlett was thrilled. “This is amazing! I’m so surprised, I wish I’d written a speech! It’s truly the best Christmas gift ever, and we’ve all had a wonderful time,” she said.
This year’s show featured well-known personalities from the world of entertainment, such as Babatunde Aléshé, Brian McFadden, Jodie Ounsley, Melanie Blatt, and Nicholas Bailey.
The celebrities and their professional dance partners kicked off the show with a cheerful group performance, dancing to songs like Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Grown Up Christmas List’ and tunes from the musical ‘Mame.’ They also closed the show with a lively number set to songs from ‘White Christmas.’
The judges came together for one last performance, ending with Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s final “Keeeeep dancing!” as they finished their time hosting the show.
