Fans were surprised to learn that My Hero Academia will continue with a new short anime, even after the manga concluded. This short will adapt additional material created by the manga’s author, Kohei Horikoshi, and takes place after the epilogue. It’s scheduled to premiere in Japan on August 3rd.

This August, Crunchyroll will release Dragon Ball Daima: The Complete Season on Blu-Ray, giving fans a physical copy of the series that officially added Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta and Super Saiyan 4 Goku to the Dragon Ball story. The set, available in North America on August 11th, includes all 20 episodes of the spin-off, plus some original content. The standard edition comes with the series and new English dubs of the opening and ending themes, along with textless versions of those songs. A limited edition is also available, featuring 7 silver foil art cards, a sticker featuring miniature versions of Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo, and a special rigid box with artwork by the anime’s character designer. In a recent podcast, Middler hinted that a new inFAMOUS game is in development at PlayStation, but isn’t being created by Sucker Punch, the studio behind the original games. He mentioned he believes something is happening with the series ‘somewhere else’ within PlayStation.
Bandai Namco recently announced a remastered version of the original Gundam series during a livestream. However, fans will have to wait until 2029 to play it. According to the official Gundam website, the remaster is being developed to celebrate the series’ 50th anniversary and allow a new generation of fans to experience where it all began – Mobile Suit Gundam. While it’s currently unknown if the remaster will be a complete TV series or a movie, this isn’t the first time the classic Gundam universe has been revisited. From May 4th to 10th, the movie Remarkably Bright Creatures ranked as the third most popular title on Netflix worldwide. Viewers watched it for a combined 19.7 million hours, totaling 10.4 million views. It was only surpassed by Apex and Swapped. This marked the first time Remarkably Bright Creatures appeared in Netflix’s top 10.
