3 Years Later, Netflix’s 5-Season Crime Thriller Is Still One Of Its Best-Ever Shows

As a huge fan of TV, I’ve really noticed how Netflix has become great at giving shows a second life. They’ve taken series that originally aired on traditional networks and essentially revived them with new seasons, making them feel fresh again. I’m thinking of shows like The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Arrested Development, Lucifer, and even Designated Survivor – all of those started on network TV before finding a new home and continuing on Netflix.

Netflix’s Biggest Anime of The Year Is All Set For a New Release

Following the film’s popularity, the official X account announced the Blu-ray DVD will be released on September 9, 2026. It will come in both a standard version and a special limited edition. The limited edition is more expensive, but includes extra features that fans will appreciate. Currently, the release is planned for Japan, though a worldwide release date may be announced later. In a separate post, the official account also mentioned they’re looking into improving production to meet high demand. Pre-orders for the Blu-ray opened after the announcement and were so popular that they’re considering increasing the number available to avoid inflated prices from resellers.
