Snoop Dogg Delivers Star-Studded Halftime Show During NFL Game

Snoop Dogg dropped this performance like it’s hot.

Netflix’s Christmas broadcast of the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings NFL game included a halftime show called Snoop Dogg’s Holiday Halftime Party. The performance featured Snoop Dogg, along with country singer Lainey Wilson, EJAE from HUNTR/X, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami (the voices of KPOP Demon Hunters), and singers Andrea Bocelli and Matteo Bocelli.

This segment, following Beyoncé’s landmark Christmas performance a year earlier, also included a surprise appearance by Martha Stewart, a close friend and frequent collaborator of Snoop Dogg. She introduced the halftime show with a playful take on the classic poem, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’.

“I sprung from my bed and said, ‘What is cracking?'” Martha read from her holiday-themed book. “Hailing from the one and only LBC, give it up for Snoop D.O. Double G.”

I’ve been a fan of Snoop and Martha’s unlikely friendship ever since Snoop first appeared on Martha’s show way back in the late 2000s! It’s amazing how their connection has lasted almost twenty years and grown into so many fun projects, like their hilarious potluck dinner show on VH1. It’s a partnership I always enjoy seeing!

In a 2016 interview with Rolling Stone, he described Martha Stewart as one of a kind, saying that when they’re together, it feels like a perfect blend of affection, tranquility, and understanding.

As for the secret behind their years-long relationship?

Martha shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November 2024 that their relationship is simply about enjoying each other’s company and supporting one another. She explained that they collaborate and assist each other with their respective projects.

Snoop Dogg’s respect for Martha Stewart actually increased when he saw her playfully tease Justin Bieber during a Comedy Central roast.

He remembered telling Today in 2019 that she completely stole the show when she sat next to him. He said she was the funniest comedian that night, and he immediately knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

“We just enjoy working together,” Martha shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November 2024. “He supports my projects, and I support his.”
