North West Shares New Photo With Kanye West’s Wife Bianca Censori

North West is embracing her blended family.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 12-year-old daughter recently showed a rare, heartwarming moment with Kanye’s wife, Bianca Censori, whom he married in 2022, during the holiday season.

On December 26th, North West—who recently joined Instagram—shared a post from rapper Babyxsosa to her Instagram Story. The post was a screenshot of a FaceTime call with North and Bianca, though they were partially visible in the image. The post also tagged North and her stepmother, and included a red heart, Christmas tree, and flying money emoji.

Just a week before, North West joined the app and shared her first post: a slightly out-of-focus picture of herself wearing Balenciaga and making peace signs. She simply captioned it, “First post.”

As a parent myself, I completely understand the concerns around kids and social media. Years before North West started posting on Instagram, her dad, Kanye, made it clear he wasn’t thrilled about her being online. Apparently, after North and her cousin Penelope Disick made a TikTok video singing a song by Machine Gun Kelly back in 2022, Kanye actually spoke with Kim about his worries. It’s a conversation a lot of us parents are having these days, isn’t it?

Kanye West, 48, said in a video he posted to Instagram (which has since been removed) that he’d spoken to Kim and asked her to stop publicly provoking him with posts on TikTok.

He went on to say, “I’m North’s father, and I’m aware many people don’t prioritize fathers or family these days. The media often pushes a different agenda, but I’ve made it clear: I won’t let my daughter be exploited by platforms like TikTok or Disney. I have a right to be involved in these decisions.”

Okay, so Kim – she’s amazing, honestly – she was totally defending letting North be on TikTok, and you know what? She’s right! All this drama with Kanye constantly blasting her publicly? She said that was way more damaging to North than just being on the app. It’s like, he’s attacking her and it’s affecting their daughter, and everyone’s focusing on TikTok! I totally get why she’d stand up for her parenting, it’s infuriating what he’s doing.

She explained on Instagram that, as the primary parent and caregiver, she was trying to balance protecting their daughter with letting her explore her creative interests, always with an adult present, because it made her happy.
