Disney is reportedly planning a live-action remake of its 1959 animated film, Sleeping Beauty. According to entertainment insider Daniel Richtman, the new movie, currently titled Aurora, will be a fresh take on the classic story of Princess Aurora, which originated from a French fairy tale written in 1697. Unlike the original, which was set in 14th-century France, this remake will be set in Mexico. Disney has not yet confirmed the project.
