Netflix is making some significant changes to its movie selection in early 2026. While viewers will be happy to see additions like Despicable Me and Dune, the service will actually be losing more movies overall. Unfortunately, this includes a highly-rated animated movie series that’s currently available on the platform.
Starting January 1st, all three Kung Fu Panda movies will no longer be available on Netflix. Only the Kung Fu Panda TV series will remain. This means the complete movie series will be gone from the streaming service, as Kung Fu Panda 4 was removed earlier this year.
The biggest disappointment with these movies leaving Netflix is that it will be hard to find them anywhere else for now. While Kung Fu Panda 2 is available on HBO Max, the other three films aren’t currently streaming on any other major platforms, and they weren’t mentioned in any of those services’ January announcements.
If you love watching Kung Fu Panda and prefer to own movies on disc, it’s going to become harder to watch the films soon.
