Early viewers are raving about Toy Story 5. Andrew Salazar of Discussing Film called it a “genuine home run,” and Jazz Tangcay from Variety described it as “magical and pure perfection.” Film critic Scott Menzel added that the movie is a heartwarming return to form for Pixar, and a reminder of why the Toy Story series is considered one of the best ever. The film is being widely praised as another success for the franchise, and for good reason.

Perhaps this shouldn’t be a surprise. Back in February, the BBC’s Director of Drama, Lindsay Salt, committed to Doctor Who‘s future while noting major concerns about the show’s funding model. In truth, the last couple of seasons have only happened because of Disney money; that partnership fell through, and the BBC simply doesn’t have the cash to pay for an increasingly-expensive sci-fi TV show. The FIFA World Cup begins on June 11th, uniting players from across the globe in cities throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This year’s tournament will be the largest ever, featuring 104 matches leading up to the final game on July 19th.

Taylor Swift was at the premiere of Toy Story 5 in Los Angeles on June 9th. She wrote a song called “I Knew it, I Knew You” for the movie and teamed up with composer Randy Newman to unexpectedly perform his classic song, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” for the audience.

In a Fortune interview, Sharma discussed the company’s standing as the second-largest publisher globally. She explained that their plans for growth sometimes clash with Microsoft’s Xbox strategy of becoming a broader platform, which needs more exclusive games. Sharma also admitted the company isn’t currently doing very well financially, and they’re cautiously exploring exclusive releases to see what works.
