This list highlights seven science fiction films known for their consistently captivating visuals. These movies demonstrate how beautiful imagery and compelling stories can come together to create truly stunning cinematic experiences.

These recent failures are particularly upsetting because these game series are incredibly important in gaming history. They weren’t just popular – they helped create the types of games we play today, setting standards for role-playing games and shooters. When these franchises disappoint, it’s more than just a sales issue; it damages the relationship with players who have spent years enjoying these worlds and characters. While some series bounce back, certain mistakes can cause lasting harm. These three games didn’t simply fall short of expectations; they actually hurt their respective franchises in surprising ways.

The world of Supernatural continues in comics with a Valentine’s Day special arriving February 4, 2026, from Dynamite Entertainment. This new adventure will see Sam and Dean Winchester facing something potentially scarier than monsters and death itself: the complexities of love and what people will do for it. With Season 2 almost here, the show is releasing individual episode title cards. Interestingly, one of these cards contains a subtle clue about a Straw Hat Pirate who won’t appear until much later in the story. As Luffy and his crew begin their journey through the Grand Line, they’ll meet a variety of new faces, including Nico Robin, Smoker, Princess Vivi, Brogy, Laboon, and Tony Tony Chopper, to name a few. Though many of these characters are already known to fans, the series seems to be handling Brook, the crew’s musician, differently.

The 1990 film Days of Thunder, directed by Tony Scott, has recently become available on Paramount+. Often described as “Top Gun on wheels” when it was released, it now streams alongside both Top Gun and Top Gun: Maverick. Instead of fighter jets, this movie features the high-speed world of NASCAR racing, with Tom Cruise playing Cole Trickle, a gifted but fiery young race car driver. The cast also includes Robert Duvall, Randy Quaid, Nicole Kidman, and Cary Elwes.

I have to admit, I was really surprised to see what’s currently topping the charts on Prime Video! It’s a drama called After the Hunt, and it’s seriously good. Julia Roberts plays Alma, a well-respected professor at Yale, and the story centers around a student, Maggie (played by Ayo Edebiri), who confides in her about a sexual assault. The really tough part is that Alma struggles to believe Maggie, and that creates all sorts of complications. The cast is fantastic too – Andrew Garfield plays the professor who’s accused, and you’ve also got Michael Stuhlbarg as Alma’s husband and Chloe Sevigny as a student liaison. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something compelling.

Even the biggest superhero fans have to agree that sometimes, a character’s costume just doesn’t quite work. I’m not saying these costumes are bad, but some are definitely a bit strange. Let’s be real, would we ever expect to see Wonder Woman wearing that old biker look again? Or Nightwing in his disco outfit? While the new DC Universe will probably come up with some cool designs, I’m pretty sure these seven outfits won’t be making an appearance.

Zur-En-Arrh was the primary antagonist during a divisive period of Chip Zdarsky’s Batman comics. This villain subtly invaded Bruce Wayne’s mind, gradually pushing him towards insanity with the goal of taking complete control. Zur-En-Arrh intended to escape through the Failsafe robot – a creation designed to defeat Batman if he ever went too far. Although this storyline didn’t fully satisfy readers, the concept of Batman being mentally compromised and losing control proved compelling. Fortunately, DC has revisited this idea in Detective Comics #1103.
