The user interface adds to the frustration; even something basic like reading a note requires a specific, cumbersome process of pulling it up and holding a button.

Pluto TV is celebrating William Shatner’s birthday with a special Star Trek event! Starting Friday, March 20th and lasting through April 3rd, they’re bringing back a dedicated Star Trek channel. The celebration continues on March 22nd with birthday-themed programming and a Star Trek movie marathon across multiple channels.

As a huge sci-fi fan, I’m really excited about Project Hail Mary because it feels different. It’s a big, exciting movie that isn’t based on existing books or trying to launch a whole series of films – it just wants to tell a really good, complete story about a guy and his alien buddy trying to save their worlds. Now that everyone’s loving it and it’s doing well at the box office, I’m already wondering if we’ll ever get a sequel, especially with that little hint at the end! It’s a refreshing change of pace, and I’m hoping it paves the way for more original sci-fi films.

All six episodes of the darkly funny mystery series Deadloch became available on Prime Video on March 20th. Created by Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan, the show playfully spoofs crime dramas while offering a feminist perspective. It stars Kate Box and Madeleine Sami as two very different detectives – one who knows the local Tasmanian town well, and one who’s from the city – who must work together to solve a series of disturbing murders. The second season sends the duo to the hot Northern Territory to investigate the death of Eddie’s ex-partner, but their investigation quickly takes an unexpected turn when they’re called to a small town called Barra Creek to identify a single body part.

A recent ruling has been a major win for the original backers of Subnautica 2. Vice Chancellor Lori W. Will decided that Krafton broke its contract by letting go of important leaders, including Ted Gill. As a result, the court has ordered Ted Gill to be brought back as CEO of Unknown Worlds Entertainment, giving him complete control over the development and launch of the game.
