So, I was totally surprised to see Thrillville: Off the Rails – the sequel to that rollercoaster building game from 2007, originally on the PSP – suddenly show up on PlayStation Network! Frontier Developments, the folks who made it, have been working on getting their older games working on modern platforms, and this one just quietly appeared with some trophies attached. It was a really cool surprise for us fans!

Honestly, as a fan, one of my biggest gripes with Mega Evolutions and similar things is that a lot of them just don’t feel different enough from the original Pokémon. Some of the worst ones barely seem like new designs at all! Yeah, the stat boosts are cool, but they’re not really what I remember – I want to be excited by how a Pokémon looks when it evolves, and a lot of these just fall flat.
