A Yellowstone Star’s Western Epic Is About To Leave HBO Max

Kevin Costner’s Western film, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1, will be leaving HBO Max on February 22nd, giving fans only a few days left to watch it online. This movie is the first in a planned four-part series that Costner directed, co-wrote, produced, and starred in. It tells the story of the American West over 12 years during and after the Civil War. Chapter 1 takes place in 1859 and follows several characters as they deal with life in the Midwest during a time of national division. While the film didn’t perform well in theaters—earning only $38 million on a $100 million budget—it’s the only Horizon movie released so far. Chapter 2 has been filmed and is awaiting release, and the final two parts are still being developed.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Is Now So Close to Telling the Targaryen Story I’ve Been Dreaming Of

The story really kicks off with the death of Dunk’s pal, Rafe, and how he’s saved by Ser Arlan of Pennytree, but honestly, what’s happening around that is just as compelling. It starts with Dunk and Rafe robbing a guy on what looks a lot like the Redgrass Field – the site of the final battle in the Blackfyre Rebellion. Though it’s not exactly red or grassy, the details strongly suggest it’s connected to that rebellion, and I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of that history unfold as the story goes on.

PS6 and Next-Gen Xbox Just Took Another Major Hit

The gaming industry is shifting, and it’s not really about the games themselves. A worldwide shortage of key components used to build consoles is forcing companies to rethink their plans for the next generation. This means gamers will likely have to wait a long time for new consoles, and one company might be especially affected.

Robert Duvall’s Performance In “The Greatest American Film Ever Made” Is Still His Best

Throughout his acting career, which spanned over 70 years, Robert Duvall starred in 91 films. He began with a role in 1962’s To Kill a Mockingbird and concluded with 2022’s The Pale Blue Eye. He appeared in many successful movies, including Tender Mercies, for which he won an Academy Award, and the courtroom drama The Judge. While Duvall had a remarkable career, many consider his performance in 1972’s The Godfather to be his finest work.

Doctor Doom’s Finest Moment Isn’t Even Available Any More (& MCU Fans Need It)

Doctor Doom is arguably Marvel’s most compelling villain, and it’s exciting to consider how the Marvel Cinematic Universe will portray him. Luckily, Marvel has a rich history of Doom stories to draw from. While fans often recommend titles like Infamous Iron Man and Secret Wars as preparation for future movies, there’s one essential story many newcomers won’t be able to find: Books of Doom, written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by Pablo Raimondi. Unfortunately, this 21-year-old series is currently out of print, meaning fans hoping to truly understand Doom will miss out on a crucial piece of his backstory.

Capcom Just Fixed Third-Person Shooters

It’s not surprising that Capcom seems to have solved a major problem with third-person shooter games. Their impressive 2026 lineup includes several titles in the genre, and leading the charge is Pragmata, a truly unique sci-fi game with the potential to redefine how we experience them. While some might dismiss its gameplay as just a neat trick, I believe it’s far more than that – it genuinely elevates a genre that has been feeling stale for a while.
