Summer House Stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Break Up

Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke will be spending their summers alone.

The stars of Summer House, who had been together for ten years and documented their relationship on the Bravo show, announced they were splitting up just over four years after getting married in September 2021.

On January 19th, the couple announced on Instagram that they have decided to separate. They stated it was a mutual and friendly decision, and asked for privacy and understanding as they both focus on themselves and move forward.

Amanda and Kyle shared, “It feels strange to ask for privacy when we’ve always been so open about our relationship, but we really appreciate your kindness and understanding as we figure things out.”

As a long-time fan, I was really sad to hear about their split! It wasn’t a huge surprise, though. The trailer for season 10 of Summer House – which was filmed last year, in 2025 – definitely hinted that things weren’t going well for them, and it seemed like their marriage was already struggling.

The preview showed that Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, and Carl Radke would be back, and Kyle warned that even long-lasting friendships can fall apart quickly. He said, “These friendships go back over ten years. You’d expect some relationships to be strong, but everything can change in an instant.”

While he kept his feelings hidden, Amanda was very direct about her frustration with Kyle’s new job as a DJ.

Although the trailer hinted at problems in their marriage, Amanda and Kyle had previously dismissed reports that they were living apart, just before the trailer was released in December.

He confirmed to Access Hollywood on November 14th that they are still together. He added that it’s frustrating when rumors surface right before BravoCon, creating unwanted drama.

Kyle did acknowledge, however, the many ups and downs that had played out before the camera.

Amanda said she wished he’d stop going out so much, but ironically, his new job actually involves going out late and partying.

Amanda disapproved of her husband’s new business venture, and he felt like she wasn’t giving him the encouragement he needed.

I just had the most important performance of my career, but Amanda didn’t seem to notice or be interested,” he explained. “I’m not sure what’s important to her these days.”

Things escalated when Kyle reportedly stayed at a fan’s place very late – until 6:30 a.m. – which led Ciara to tell Amanda she needed to tell Kyle, “If you treat me like this, I’m leaving.”
