The upcoming Pokemon game still has some exciting secrets, including brand new versions of familiar Pokemon. The game, called Pokemon Pokopia, has unveiled several unique forms, including a first-of-its-kind variant of Pikachu. While it’s still unclear exactly how these new Pokemon, like Peakychu, will function in the game, The Pokemon Company has announced they’ll soon be available as adorable plush toys. The company recently hinted at a new line of merchandise inspired by Pokemon Pokopia, and the plushies are some of the cutest designs in years.
Pokemon Center Japan has released a new line of merchandise based on the game Pokemon Pokopia. While pre-order bonuses for the game itself don’t include anything unique, fans who enjoy the game’s relaxing style will have lots of options for collectibles. Currently, plush toys and other Pokopia merchandise are only available at Pokemon Centers in Japan. However, since Pokopia is being released worldwide, we can hope these items will become available in other locations soon.
New Pokemon Pokopia Plush Include Human Ditto, Peakychu, And More

To celebrate the release of Pokopia on March 5th, The Pokemon Center Japan will be selling adorable new merchandise! The collection includes plush toys of three of the game’s new Pokemon forms: the ghost-type Peakychu, the relaxed Mosslax, and the brainy Professor Tangrowth. (I may have a new plush obsession, but don’t tell my Lechonk!)
Fans can collect a Human Ditto plush keychain, available in two different designs. There’s also a cute Castform plush that flips to show two of its different weather forms – a detail likely reflecting the game’s changing weather and day/night cycles. Castform is expected to be a featured Pokémon in the game as well.
Okay, so the Pokopia merch is way more than just stuffed animals! They’re really going all out – there’s a cool Peakychu light that glows, plus post-it notes and stickers with all the characters. I even saw what look like playmats and towels! They’ve got a Ditto pillow too, and a bunch of pens, so there’s tons of stuff to grab if you’re looking to build up your Pokopia collection right away.

I wasn’t sure if Pokopia, being a more relaxed game separate from the main Pokémon series, would get a lot of official merchandise. But it looks like The Pokémon Center is really excited to celebrate the first Pokémon life simulation game, and they’ve created a large and impressive collection of products.
I absolutely love the look of Peakychu – those floppy ears and pale color are so cute! But the origins of these new Pokemon variants are still unknown. We’ll probably have to play Pokemon Pokopia when it comes out on March 5th to find out more, and it’s launching with a new range of merchandise too. Hopefully, we’ll be able to buy Peakychu plushies and other items from the collection at Pokemon Centers outside of Japan soon.
Seriously, who doesn’t need a Peakychu plush? I know I do! Let’s talk about it – head over to the ComicBook Forum and share your thoughts with me and everyone else!
