Hailee Steinfeld is looking to score a touchdown this Valentine’s Day.
Actress Hailee Steinfeld shared that her husband, Josh Allen, has a sweet request for Valentine’s Day. She—who is currently pregnant with their first child—is happy to fulfill it.
In her February 13th newsletter, the 29-year-old mentioned she was still finalizing plans for Valentine’s Day dinner, sharing some recipe ideas she liked. She also noted her husband requested an ‘Angel Margarita’.
Hailee reminded her audience that Josh had a helpful hint for getting the most out of the margarita’s lime flavor: he recommended trying it with Tajín sprinkled around the edge of the glass.
Even though the expecting star won’t be having her usual Valentine’s Day cocktails with her husband this year, Hailee is excited about the rest of their meal – they’re planning to make either spaghetti, pizza, or steak.
Essentially, she loves Valentine’s Day because she believes in celebrating all kinds of love – whether it’s romantic, between friends, self-love, or even love for pets. Any reason to celebrate love is a good one for her.
Luckily, Hailee has Josh, 29, with her, and he’s happy to enjoy the day with her.
She was thrilled that her husband not only accepts her love for the holiday, but enthusiastically participates with her. She also appreciates that he’s perfectly happy spending the day relaxing on the couch in comfortable clothes, doing absolutely nothing together.
She’s dreaming of a relaxing day together: watching the sunrise, taking a long bath, reading together, and baking chocolate chip cookies.
Hailee and Josh got married last May and have since learned how to maintain a strong relationship even with their busy, separate schedules.
She explained in a recent interview with the Beau Society that they make a conscious effort to fully focus on each other, saying she didn’t want to sound predictable but ‘we really prioritize being present in the moment.’
We really prioritize spending quality time together, like having a weekly date night, and we also make sure to disconnect from our phones for an hour before bed each night.

Included in that same post, the “Starving” singer squeezed in for a photo with Josh’s family.
Reporter Kay Adams, on her show Up & Adams, playfully nicknamed him “Mr. Hard Launch.” When asked about his relationship with Hailee, he shyly responded, “We love love.”
Hailee and Josh announced their engagement on November 29, 2024, with an Instagram post. The photo showed Josh proposing on one knee as Hailee kissed him. They revealed they got engaged on November 22, 2024, in the post’s caption.
Josh and Hailee quickly became a public couple, appearing together on the red carpet at the NFL Honors just months after getting engaged. While accepting his MVP award, Josh lovingly acknowledged Hailee in his speech.
He told her she was his constant support and closest friend, adding that he wouldn’t be where he was today without her.
The couple exchanged vows in a beautiful California wedding. The bride wore a strapless gown with elegant elbow-length gloves.
