As I stood amidst over 200 attendees at the June wedding, I found myself grappling with a sense of curiosity. With limited details about the ceremony unfolding before me, I couldn’t help but ponder if everyone present was somehow shielding the couple from the outside world. Intrigued, I turned to my sister and asked, “Why are you keeping so much information under wraps?

In response to this, Sara said, “It seems like there’s absolutely nothing—it’s fascinating how exaggerated the atmosphere became with the protests. But it wasn’t as you might think. Instead, it had a surprisingly intimate feel.

Absolutely, the news about the extravagant wedding only intensified Venetians’ existing annoyance towards excessive tourism, prompting numerous protests in the time leading to the event.

Sara expressed her concern by saying, “This is the issue at hand: People are criticizing you for attending a wedding. I can’t stress enough how unexpected this backlash was to me. Honestly, it never crossed my mind that anyone would have an issue with someone going to a wedding. It truly didn’t.

She went on with her Instagram summary from the wedding weekend, stating, “As I shared these stunning photos of myself in those beautiful Monique Lhuillier dresses, I hadn’t anticipated they would cause such division. Honestly, it never crossed my mind. I guess I wasn’t as perceptive as I thought.

Besides providing information about the attendees, Sara mentioned some big names on the guest list, including Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Usher, and Tom Brady. It’s worth noting that there were also numerous A-list celebrities who managed to stay out of the spotlight at this event.

Sara disclosed that many individuals weren’t captured in the photographs. When her sister asked for specific names, she replied, “I can’t. It’s a bit dull, I guess. I won’t do it, but there were quite a number of people who didn’t make it into the photos.
