Dorinda Medley is faithful to her fellow housewives.
Following the announcement that she’d be appearing on TopMob’s The Golden Life alongside Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Kelly Bensimon, the former Real Housewives of New York City star shared details about her continuing friendships with the group.
“What’s great about this group is that we’ve always stuck together,” Dorinda shared with TopMob News. “I admire these women because they’re resilient and always keep moving forward, constantly busy with something.”
You know, as someone who follows the lifestyle scene, it’s always fascinating to see how things stay the same! I recently had dinner with Luann and Ramona, and honestly, it felt like no time had passed at all. For those who don’t know, I was a main cast member on RHONY from 2015 to 2020, and some dynamics just never change, which is both comforting and…well, you know how it is!
She said it felt like stepping back in time, almost as if the show had been filmed decades ago. She loves the cast, always thinking to herself that they consistently deliver genuine performances. They’re so naturally themselves, she added, that you’d believe the cameras were still rolling.
Dorinda is excited to film with everyone again, saying it will be wonderful to reunite and enjoy each other’s company.
Although Florida offers a welcome escape from the cold weather in New York City, Dorinda hinted that something else might be causing the excitement.

To be honest, we’re all pretty headstrong people,” she said. “If you get us all together for very long, someone’s bound to get annoyed. It’s just how we are.
However, she added, “I think that makes us kind of great.”
Dorinda found another familiar face from reality TV in Lisa Rinna, who she worked with on season four of The Traitors.

I always liked Lisa Rinna a lot,” she shared about working with her on the show. “We quickly connected and became really close, even though we hadn’t known each other for very long.
Even though Dorinda was eventually eliminated from The Traitors (after Lisa, another Traitor, had already been discovered), she still looks back with fondness on her experience with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members at the show’s castle.
She explained that she and this woman connected instantly. She really appreciates her sense of humor and style, and thinks she’s a true standout among the Housewives.
New episodes of The Traitors drop Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Bravo’s reality show about Washington D.C. featured four women—Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner—who didn’t exactly make a lasting impression. And then there was one woman who was so eager for attention that she actually crashed a party at the White House. We’ll get to her story shortly.

Who?

Vaguely familiar, but…

Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.

This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.

The newest cast member on the Utah edition of “The Real Housewives” had a dramatic and short run on the show. In January 2022, Jennie was let go after old, offensive posts from her Facebook account were discovered online and criticized as racially insensitive. She later issued an apology, but the show had already decided to remove her from the cast.

Her defining trait was “cougar.”

Dr. Jen didn’t cause much drama in season 16, and her short-lived marriage issues with her husband, Ryne, weren’t very exciting. But we’ll always remember her getting noticeably tipsy on wine at the Dubrows’ incredibly uncomfortable – but surprisingly fun – dinner party.

The nurse anesthetist’s show had a disastrous first season, and it’s best remembered by a single, embarrassing incident – a mistake so notable it’s become known as ‘Esophagus-gate’.

Katie frequently talked about her charitable efforts, but didn’t really offer much else when filming. She made a brief appearance and then didn’t actively participate as a friend to the other cast members. And leaving the group trip early? That’s a major breach of etiquette for a Housewives cast member.

Charrisse is mostly remembered for her highly publicized marital issues during her two seasons on the show, as well as her famously lavish champagne room.

A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?

Although it was refreshing to see some diversity on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Peggy became a frustrating cast member in season 12. She frequently started arguments over minor misunderstandings, often focusing on words she didn’t know, and her decision to isolate herself during the Iceland trip showed she wasn’t suited for the show’s lifestyle.

Nneka’s first season on the show focused on a surprising and dramatic conflict: she claimed Wendy Osefo’s mother practiced witchcraft. It was a shame this became the main storyline, as it would have been great to see Nneka and Wendy connect over their Nigerian heritage instead of being stuck in a never-ending disagreement.

Noella brought a lot of energy to season 16, but it often felt chaotic. Although viewers felt some sympathy for her personal issues – her husband, James, unexpectedly filed for divorce just before filming began – it was her ongoing conflict with Heather Dubrow that kept her from being the least popular cast member. Perhaps with more time on the show, she’ll win over more fans.

It’s rare to see a Real Housewife’s reputation decline so quickly. She went from being a peacemaker in her first season to facing accusations of anti-Semitism and complaining about a cake being thrown in her second – and final – season.

Amber and Jim both seemed to be acting out of desperation. However, Jim appeared more caught up in the problems than Amber, which didn’t look good for him.

From what everyone recalls, Karent was a dentist, but her colleagues didn’t seem to get along with her. Moving on!

This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.

Jules was only on RHONY for one season, so it’s hard to place her higher on a ranking list. Still, she definitely brought plenty of drama during her time on the show.

So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.

Similar to her co-star Sara Al Madani, Nina showed how a successful Arab woman can balance a modern lifestyle with her culture and heritage. She generally stayed out of the season’s conflicts and, at times, didn’t get as much attention as the more outgoing personalities on the show.

Taleen joined the second season of RHODubai and made a positive impression, but it’s hard to get a full sense of her personality after just one season of the show.

Oh my gosh, remember Tiffany Pollard from America’s Next Top Model? She was on Real Housewives of Atlanta for two seasons, but honestly, she didn’t quite make a splash. It felt like she was pregnant the whole time! But seriously, can we talk about that read she gave Marlo Hampton in Tokyo?! It was legendary, absolutely iconic. I still replay it in my head!

Usually, we like to see how a new Housewife does over at least one full season before ranking them highly. But Katie made a huge impact right away on season 18 of RHOC, immediately challenging veteran Housewife Heather Dubrow. It takes guts to question someone like Ms. Fancypants!

To be frank, Stephanie didn’t really impress us. Although she had the potential to be a good addition to the show because of her wealth, we didn’t like how she constantly used her private jet to try and control the other cast members during season seven. It just left a bad taste in our mouths.
Maybe Steph can redeem herself if she returns for season eight.

Sara had a cheerful and optimistic attitude, which made her easy to get along with, though things were usually pretty calm around her – except for the time she gave co-star Caroline Brooks some unsolicited parenting advice. More importantly, she challenged common ideas about modern Muslim women in the Middle East, and that’s something to be celebrated.

The new cast members on season 13 of RHONJ quickly fell into the familiar pattern of New Jersey Housewives, getting caught up in a season-long, ultimately meaningless argument that even Andy Cohen called out as pointless. Sadly, they didn’t offer much more depth or substance in season 14 either.

Larsa Pippen didn’t stand out much during her first season on the show before she left. When The Real Housewives of Miami returned in 2021, a major focus of her story was her past friendship with Kim Kardashian – and her side hustle selling photos of her feet online.

After appearing on Bravo TV for one season, Ana tried out for season 12 of Next Food Network Star in 2016, but wasn’t selected.
