James Tynion IV’s Tiny Onion Reveals Massive Humble Bundle Featuring 5 Publishers

Award-winning creator James Tynion IV has made his extensive comic book collection more accessible than ever for enthusiasts. With a diverse career spanning various comic book publishing companies, Tynion IV gained significant recognition as the writer of DC’s long-running Batman series. However, instead of solely focusing on work-for-hire projects, Tynion IV has established himself as a trailblazer in the independent scene with blockbuster titles like Something is Killing the Children, The Department of Truth, and numerous others. Now, fans can find many of James Tynion IV’s comics gathered in one easily accessible location, bridging multiple publishers.

James Tynion IV’s creative studio, Little Onion Studios, has joined forces with Humble Bundle for a collection titled “The Thrilling and Imaginative Realms of James Tynion IV.” This collaboration involves comic book publishers such as DC, BOOM! Studios, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and DSTLRY. The bundle is currently available, with a portion of the sales going towards The Binc Foundation, a charitable organization that aids comic book retailers and booksellers in America who encounter unexpected financial hardships by offering assistance to their employees, owners, and families.

Pam French, Binc’s executive director, expressed her gratitude towards each publisher and creator who collaborates with Humble Bundle and considers Binc as their preferred charity. A special thanks goes out to Tiny Onion and James Tynion IV for their unwavering support of writers and comic enthusiasts nationwide,” said Pam French.

The ‘James Tynion IV’s Thrilling and Imaginative Realms’ collection is priced above $628, making it an attractive starting point for both newcomers and returning readers. It adopts a flexible, donation-based approach to purchase price, allowing you to contribute as much or as little as you wish, with the proceeds going towards charitable causes. Among the comics featured are all eight volumes of BOOM!’s ‘Something is Killing the Children’ series and its related titles such as ‘Books of Slaughter’ (volumes 1-3) and ‘House of Slaughter’ (volumes 1-6); Image Comics’ ‘The Department of Truth’; and DC’s ‘The Nice House on the Lake’, a collaboration between Tynion and artist Álvaro Martínez Bueno.

Additionally, you can find digital editions of popular books such as “The Woods”, “Wynd”, “Memetic”, and “The Backstagers” from BOOM! Studios; “The Closet”, “The Deviant”, and “WORLDTR33” from Image Comics; “Blue Book”, “The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos”, and “True Weird” from Dark Horse Comics; and “Spectregraph” from DSTLRY.

The package arrives just before the San Diego Comic-Con of 2025, where the Eisner Awards will be held. Notably, previous Eisner winner Tynion has been nominated again in the Best Writer category for his works such as Something is Killing the Children, Wynd, Blue Book, The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos, Spectregraph, The Department of Truth, and WORLDTR33.
