If you enjoyed the brief preview of Alex in the new Street Fighter 6 game, that’s because a well-known player is helping to define how the character fights.
Professional wrestler Kenny Omega spent the day doing motion capture work for a video game character named Alex. Alex is designed to be incredibly agile and strong, and the game developers shared a look at how they’re capturing those abilities through performance capture, bringing Alex’s full power to life in the game.
If you’re considering playing Alex when he’s released next month, there’s a lot to be excited about. He focuses on overwhelming opponents with a constant stream of unpredictable attacks and powerful grabs, making it difficult to defend against him. Plus, his large size and commanding presence give him a real advantage.
Alex makes a dramatic entrance and will be available on March 17th with the Year 3 Character Pass.
