Ashley Tisdale French has a suite update on her life.
I was so thrilled to hear that the actress is coming back to television! It’s been six years since she starred in Carol’s Second Act, and now she’s going to be in a new series called You’re Only Young Twice. I’ve been a big fan and can’t wait to see what she does with this new role!
Ashley jokingly shared on Instagram on February 27th that she told her agent she was retiring from acting, and he quickly disagreed, telling her ‘no you’re not!’
This comedy series centers on Emily and Alex, who were high school sweethearts and got married after becoming parents. Now that their child is heading off to college, the couple – both 35 years old – decides to get a divorce and rediscover themselves. The show follows them as they navigate dating and raising their child as they enter their thirties, all while they’re still young enough to enjoy life’s next adventures.
In addition to acting in the CBS series, Ashley also serves as an executive producer with Tommy Johnagin and Mandy Summers, who is a writer on the show.
Ashley’s most recent on-screen role was in 2019, playing Jenny, the sister of Dr. Carol Kenney in the show Carol’s Second Act. However, she’s still well-known as the original voice of Candace Flynn in Phineas and Ferb, which aired from 2007 to 2015 and then made a comeback in 2025.
Cole Sprouse, known from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, made sure to thank his fans who have supported him since his Disney days. He shares two daughters – Jupiter, age 4, and Emerson, 17 months old – with his husband, Christopher French.
I’m incredibly grateful to my fans for everything I’ve achieved,” she told ABC Audio in June. “They’re the reason I had success with High School Musical, and they’re the reason Phineas and Ferb is coming back. I’m so thankful for all the love they’ve shown my work.
Okay, so Ashley was already killing it, obviously, but she’s not one to just stay in one lane, you know? She’s always got something else going on! And in 2020, she launched Frenshe, which is this amazing wellness company. I was SO excited when I heard – it just makes sense that she would create something to help people feel good, inside and out. Seriously, she’s incredible!

She shared on the brand’s website that she was exploring her own journey with wellness. Feeling like she didn’t have all the answers, she sought guidance from experts. This led to the creation of Frenshe, a platform designed to make wellness simple, affordable, and available to everyone.
She explained that Frenshe was founded on the ideas of approaching wellness with kindness and truthfulness, making health a continuous process rather than a distant achievement.
