The “Liver King” is living some legal drama.
As a devoted follower, I’d like to share that Brian Johnson, the focus of Netflix’s “Untold: The Liver King” documentary, was taken into custody in Texas on June 24, following his threatening remarks towards Joe Rogan. This information was verified by the Austin Police Department to TopMob News.
Police reports indicate that detectives learned Johnson allegedly threatened Rogan and examined his online posts, noticing that Johnson was on his way to Austin, Texas, and continued to make threatening comments.
Following his conversation with Rogan, it was reported that he had no prior engagement with Johnson. He deemed the posts as potentially menacing.
Or
Rogan shared with the police that he had no history with Johnson, and he viewed the posts as potentially threatening.
According to the information they have, the detectives secured an arrest warrant against Johnson, accusing him of making a Terroristic Threat.
Police later confirmed that Johnson was apprehended peacefully outside an Austin hotel on the same day and taken into police custody. The accusation against him, as stated by officials, is classified as a Class B misdemeanor for making terroristic threats.
The police have stated that the case is still under investigation, so they cannot provide any additional details presently.
Before his detention, Johnson (known for his huge following on social media due to his raw meat lifestyle) had posted videos on Instagram mentioning Rogan.
In a June 23 video, he declared, “Joe Rogan, it’s me, Liver King. I’m challenging you, man-to-man. I’ve no Jiu-jitsu training, but since you’re a black belt, you should easily defeat me. Yet, I’m issuing the challenge. You set the terms; I’ll come to you whenever you’re ready.
On June 24th, a video posted to Johnson’s Instagram account depicted him being apprehended by a police officer in uniform and subsequently placed into a patrol car. At the time of his arrest, Johnson was attired in red sweatpants, a tank top beneath a work vest.
TopMob News has reached out to Rogan for comment and has attempted to locate counsel for Johnson.
In a documentary released by Netflix in May, the cameras found Johnson following his exposure in 2022 for enhancing his muscular physique with steroids and human growth hormones – a fact he had previously denied for several years.
In contrast to maintaining a mainly meat-based diet over the past few years, Johnson mentioned in the documentary that he’s been incorporating more vegetables into his meals.
In the show “Untold: The Liver King“, he expressed, “I consume a variety of vegetables and certain animal parts, and I shared this. I was absolutely certain, with my carnivore diet, that it was essential for living life powerfully. Now, I’m convinced that I was depriving myself by following that diet.
Later on, he acknowledged his mistake by saying, “I now wish for the world to understand that I was in error.” He further explained that “an overly aggressive strategy, it seems, is not proving effective.
