With the new season premiering on Starz on March 6th, now is a great time for both longtime fans and newcomers to catch up on this historical romance.

Outlander’s Gripping Story Beautifully Blends History & Fantasy

I absolutely love Outlander! It starts with this incredible woman, a WWII nurse trying to build a life with her husband after the war. But then, boom – she’s unexpectedly thrown back in time to 1743 Scotland! Suddenly, she’s right in the middle of a really fascinating and dangerous period in history, all tied up with the Jacobite rebellion. It’s a wild ride!

When Claire is unexpectedly transported to the past, she falls for Jamie Fraser, a rugged Highland warrior. As they grow closer, Claire discovers Jamie has a troubled history, and she finds herself torn between him and her former life, caught in a passionate but complicated love triangle.

The TV show Outlander is adapted from the book series of the same name, with each season covering a different section of the story.
