
Marvelous and Marvelous First Studio have been tirelessly working on their mech action game, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, and now they’ve shared a fresh insight into its creation with a new video. Entitled The Making of Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion – Developer Documentary, this behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming title lasts approximately 13 minutes. You can take a peek at it below.
In this video, documentary filmmaker Archipel is the one behind the production, with series producer Kenichiro Tsukuda appearing in it. The topics covered revolve around Tsukuda’s early encounters with mecha genre that eventually sparked the idea for the original Daemon X Machina, and also offer a peek into the studio’s creative process behind Titanic Scion.
The documentary additionally includes conversations between the producer and the development team about their application of contemporary game creation tools and methods for enhancing graphics and gameplay. In terms of design, it also delves into how they utilized 3D printing technology to create the unique aesthetic seen in Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion.
In a continuation of the original “Daemon X Machina”, titled “Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion”, was initially revealed as far back as May 2023. This game is currently being developed for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2, with a planned release on September 2nd. The launch date was disclosed during the first demonstration of the upcoming game that took place in April this year.
In the trailer for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, we were treated to numerous insights. One such revelation is that players will have the freedom to customize their Arsenal, allowing them to arm themselves with their preferred gear. Throughout gameplay, players can engage enemies and gather their components, which are useful for enhancing their own Arsenal. As the game progresses, players encounter Titanic bosses, offering the option to fight these formidable foes either alone or in a team.
In the latest trailer for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, May offers a closer look at the game’s fundamental combat mechanics. It provides insights into various aspects of the battle system, such as the option to wield up to six distinct weapons, and the functionality of auxiliary gear in the gameplay.
Initially, “Daemon X Machina” was launched exclusively for Nintendo Switch in 2019. Later on, it became available on PC systems as well. The plot revolves around a group of mech pilots called The Outers, who utilize their advanced Arsenals to battle against beings referred to as the Arms of Immortality.
