In recent times, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have predominantly been involved with film scores, earning them numerous Academy Awards and Grammys. But the upcoming movie TRON: Ares provided an ideal platform for them to resume their work as Nine Inch Nails. The fresh soundtrack features more than 70 minutes of new music, including hits like “As Alive As You Need to Be” and “Who Wants to Live Forever”. The soundtrack of TRON: Ares by Nine Inch Nails is coming out on vinyl in three different versions. Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor have composed the music for numerous films, including “The Social Network,” “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” “Gone Girl,” “Soul,” and most recently “Challengers.” They’ve been honored with two Academy Awards – one each for their work on “The Social Network” and “Soul.” Their score for “Challengers” was particularly praised by critics, ultimately winning Best Original Score and Best Original Song at the Golden Globe Awards, as well as numerous nominations across various film awards. This will be the first time they’ve scored a movie under their band name, Nine Inch Nails.

Ares” centers around an advanced digital entity named Ares, who ventures from the digital realm into our physical world for a hazardous assignment. This event signifies the initial human-artificial intelligence interaction.

TRON: Ares features an impressive cast including Jared Leto (Suicide Squad), Greta Lee (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse), Evan Peters (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Hasan Minhaj (Haunted Mansion), Jodie Turner-Smith (Star Wars: The Acolyte), Arturo Castro (Narcos), Cameron Monaghan (Gotham), and Gillian Anderson (The X-Files). Sean Bailey (TRON: Legacy), Jeffrey Silver (The Little Mermaid), Justin Springer (Oblivion), Emma Ludbrook (Morbius), Leto, and original TRON writer-director Steven Lisberger are the producers. Russell Allen (Disney’s The Lion King and Snow White re-imaginings) joins as executive producer.
