Anne Hathaway Wears $150,000 in Jewelry for Mother Mary Premiere

Gird your loins for Anne Hathaway‘s latest look.

The actress made a grand entrance at the New York City premiere of her movie, Mother Mary, wearing incredibly expensive and eye-catching jewelry.

Okay, so Anne was at the Metrograph last night, and honestly, I almost died. She wore this incredible custom white dress by Lever Coutour – it was all flowy mesh and had this amazing, high slit. But the jewelry! Oh my god, the jewelry! It was Bulgari, all snakes and sparkle, and apparently worth over $150,000! It completely stole the show, I mean, everything else just faded away. I’ve been screenshotting pictures all night, it was that good.

Among the most eye-catching pieces were the Serpenti earrings, shaped like serpent heads. Each earring featured over 3 carats of emeralds and diamonds, all set in 18-karat white gold, and retailed for $67,000.

Anne, 43, chose not to wear a necklace with her high-necked dress, but she did accessorize with two stunning Serpenti rings. One ring cost $59,000, and the other, featuring two snake heads, was priced at $24,300.

Anne Hathaway often makes a statement on the red carpet, but it took her a while to fully develop her personal style.

In an August 2023 interview with Vogue, Anne confessed she initially believed she could only pull off one particular look. She felt confused until she realized she actually had a lot of different styles she enjoyed. Once she understood that, things started to feel right. But she acknowledges everyone is different – some people prefer to stick to the same outfit every day, like a black turtleneck.

And she’s always down to try something groundbreaking with her looks.

She noticed designers seemed to be really enjoying their work, and people in general were having a good time. She wondered if this had always been true, but she hadn’t noticed before. Now, she feels able to join in and enjoy the process herself more than ever.

Luckily, her longtime stylist Erin Walsh has been a guiding light when it comes to her closet.

“I’m really inspired by her,” Anne said. “Her style has definitely influenced me, and she always manages to look completely natural and put-together, no matter what she’s wearing.”
