The game’s main appeal is its all-encompassing celebration of Batman. It draws from many different Batman stories and combines them into one overarching narrative, all presented with LEGOs.
The game is full of nods to the character’s history in comics, TV, movies, and video games. And now, Warner Bros. Games has announced that a brand new version of the character will also be included.
You can dress Bruce Wayne in the Absolute Batman suit, and there’s also an Absolute version of Catwoman’s outfit available.
For the uninitiated, Absolute Batman is a new spin on the character, written by Scott Snyder.
I’m really excited about this new take on Batman! It’s so cool that Bruce Wayne isn’t a billionaire playboy in this version. Instead, he’s just a regular working guy who has to hustle to make ends meet. And get this – he doesn’t have a fortune to fall back on, so he actually builds his own Batsuit and all his gadgets! It feels much more grounded and relatable, honestly.
This new version of the superhero has quickly become a fan favorite, and this announcement will likely be very well received. It also marks the first time Absolute Batman will be presented outside of comic books, debuting in Legacy of the Dark Knight.
