PSVR2 Will Take Off Again When Microsoft Flight Sim 2024 Arrives Later This Month

The team at Asobo Studio, known for creating Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, has revealed that PlayStation VR2 support will be available shortly.

The development team recently discussed Sim Update 5 during a live broadcast about the game. This update appears to be a significant improvement, especially for players using PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2.

Okay, awesome news for all my PSVR2 players! Flight Sim 2024 support is dropping with Sim Update 5 next week, starting April 20th. I’ve been waiting to jump into the cockpit with my PSVR2, and it’s almost here! Just a few more days and I’ll be soaring through the skies in VR.

Additionally, Sim Update 5 will bring the initial selection of add-on content to the Marketplace on PlayStation 5.

The blog post clarifies that new add-ons won’t all be available immediately. Each one needs to be checked and approved by Sony to make sure it works well with the game. So, these items will be added to the Marketplace gradually as they pass these checks and are ready for release.

Sim Update 5 also adds a long-requested feature, a weather radar, complete with tilt functionality.

While the PSVR2 support is a major highlight, this upcoming update also includes several other great improvements and new features for players.

We don’t have a firm release date yet, but it’s expected sometime next week, and definitely no later than Friday, April 24th.
