Fans are eager to find out who will be the next James Bond, and it feels like the wait has been incredibly long. However, Courtenay Valenti, the head of film at Amazon MGM Studios, is asking everyone to be patient while they make the final decision and announcement.
During her presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last night (Wednesday, April 15th), Valenti addressed the audience’s question about who would be the next James Bond, saying, “I know you’re all waiting to hear who’s been cast.”
According to Deadline, she stated that she and her team are carefully and respectfully working on the next James Bond film. She described fulfilling this project as ‘a dream come true’ and emphasized they understand the importance of delivering something fans will love.
I’m still eagerly awaiting news on who will be the next James Bond, but I did learn something exciting! The team behind this new film is incredible – we’re talking about one of the most iconic franchises ever, paired with a truly world-class group of filmmakers. With Denis Villeneuve directing, and producers like Amy Pascal and David Heyman involved, along with Steven Knight writing the script and Tanya Lapointe as executive producer, I really believe they’re building something special – something that will absolutely do justice to the Bond legacy.
She announced that the film will be released soon and promised to share more details when they are ready.
Simply put, we’re still in the same position as before: we don’t know who the next James Bond will be. It’s been nearly five years since Daniel Craig’s last Bond film, No Time to Die, came out in late 2021, and there’s still no announcement.

Over the years, many actors have been considered for the role, including Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Callum Turner, and Jacob Elordi, who were all at one point considered leading candidates.
The new movie is currently planned to begin filming in late 2026. Preparations are already underway, including hiring crew members and finalizing all logistical details.
We’re hoping to hear an official announcement soon. As for who will play the role, it could be one of the actors previously rumored, or perhaps a surprising choice – it’s still completely uncertain.
As ever, we’ll be keeping an eye out for all the latest developments.
