Kate Hudson’s Son Bing, 14, Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance

Kate Hudson’s son scored extra points for being his mom’s No. 1 fan.

Kate Hudson brought her 14-year-old son, Bingham Bellamy, to the premiere of her Netflix show, Running Point, on April 15. Bingham’s father is musician Matt Bellamy, who Kate was previously engaged to.

I just loved seeing Kate and Bing out the other night! They looked so cute in their matching white outfits. Kate wore this gorgeous halter dress with delicate black detailing around the neck, and Bing kept it classic and sharp with a long-sleeved button-down and black pants. They really pulled the look off!

While posing for pictures, the 46-year-old woman kept her teenage child close, with her hand resting on their shoulder as they both smiled for the camera.

Kate Hudson and her son, Bing, shared a heartwarming moment before an event. She posted a photo on Instagram on April 16th showing them side-by-side, with Kate’s arm around his shoulder. Another picture showed Kate playfully tickling Bing’s chin while he smiled for the camera.

“Season 2 LFG!!!” Kate captioned the post. “Running Point is back on @netflix April 23.”

Kate has one child, Bing, with her husband Matt. She also has a 22-year-old son, Ryder, from a previous marriage with Chris Robinson, and a 7-year-old daughter, Rani Rose, with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

Although Bing doesn’t often appear at public events—his last was at his grandmother Goldie Hawn’s charity event in 2016—Kate has mentioned he’s following his parents’ path and pursuing a career in music.

In a 2023 birthday post, the former Almost Famous star—who started her own music career two years prior—wrote about Bing, saying he’s been a fantastic drummer since the very beginning. She described his playing as a reflection of his personality: precise, energetic, thoughtful, committed, and wonderfully unpredictable.

Recently, Kate’s son Ryder also joined her on the red carpet, attending the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars party. He’s not the only one of Kate’s children to offer public support lately.

At the event, the pair posed for pictures, both wearing matching black outfits. Before heading into the party, Ryder publicly praised his mother, who was up for Best Actress that night for her performance in Song Sung Blue.
