Steam Giving Away 4 PC Games for Free

Okay, so Steam is giving away four free PC games right now, but it’s not forever, so grab them while you can! Normally you’d have to buy these on Steam, and they’ll go back to being paid games soon. If you’re a Steam Deck player, you’re in luck – you can try out three of the four, but only one is officially confirmed to work perfectly. The other three haven’t been fully tested on the Deck yet, so it’s a bit of a gamble if they’ll run well.

It’s not surprising that the four free games currently available on Steam aren’t the latest blockbusters – Valve rarely gives away brand new titles. However, if you’re a PC gamer looking for something new without wanting to spend any money, these games are worth checking out. Horror fans especially might enjoy them, as two are straight-up horror games and the third features zombies.

Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager

The most valuable of the four free games currently available on Steam is Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager. Released in 2021 by Goblinz Studio, this dungeon defense/roguelite hybrid is free to claim until April 23rd. It has received 1,584 user reviews with a 76% positive rating, and also holds a score of 76 on Metacritic. Notably, it’s the only one of these games confirmed to work on the Steam Deck.

You’re the new manager of a dungeon, working for the Dungeons Company. Your task is simple: defend the dungeon and its treasure from adventurers trying to steal it.

Uncanny Tales: Cold Road

Vyastudio released the episodic horror game Uncanny Tales: Cold Road in 2025. It’s currently available for free on Steam until April 20th and has received over 100 user reviews, with 62% of players giving it a positive rating.

This free computer game begins with a player driving home for the winter holidays during a blizzard. Trying to bypass holiday traffic, the player chooses a less-traveled route, but things quickly go wrong.

Stickman: Killing Zombie

Stickman Killing Zombie, a game released in 2024 by Yurii Nikshych and GrabTheGames, is currently available for free until April 19th. It has a very positive 92% approval rating, though based on a limited number of reviews.

You control a stick figure character in this game, and your mission is to stop a zombie outbreak that’s taken over the stickman universe. It’s a straightforward game, but players seem to enjoy it.

NineHells

I just discovered this game called NineHells, and it’s seriously creepy! It came out in 2024 from a developer called Caffeineline, but it hasn’t gotten much attention yet, so there aren’t many reviews out there. You play as a guy named Davie, and the whole game is about him trying to piece together what happened to him as he journeys through, well, hell! It’s free to play right now until April 20th, so I’m really excited to check it out.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on these free PC games! Please leave a comment below, or join the discussion on the ComicBook Forum.
