Microsoft is adding three new games to Xbox Game Pass on April 30th. This is the most games they’ve ever added to the service on a single day in 2026. While subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass will have more to play, these aren’t major, highly anticipated releases.
It’s typical for new games to not be immediately available on all subscription tiers, and these Xbox Game Pass day one releases are no exception. Subscribers to both the Premium and Core tiers will initially miss out. However, if any of these games become popular, Microsoft often adds them to the Premium tier later on.
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era
The game Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is being developed by Unfrozen and published by Hooden Horse and Ubisoft. It will first be available as an early access title on April 30th, and initially, it will only be released for PC and through PC Game Pass.
The game is a turn-based strategy title and the newest addition to the long-running Heroes of Might and Magic series, which began in 1995. However, it’s the first new release in the series since 2015.
TerraTech Legion
Payload Studios and Mythwright are releasing a new game called TerraTech Legion on April 30th. It’s a roguelike action game and the next installment in the TerraTech series, following TerraTech (2018) and TerraTech Worlds (2024). TerraTech Legion will be exclusive to Xbox Series X consoles and PC.
Sledding Game
Sledding Game is a fun, chaotic multiplayer sports game where players can talk to each other through nearby voice chat. It’s being created and released by The Shedding Corporation, marking their first game. Like TerraTech Legion, it will initially be available only on Xbox Series X.
We don’t know how long these Xbox and PC games will stay on Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft hasn’t shared that information, as is typical.
