According to Anne Hathaway, who acted alongside her, Meryl Streep didn’t use method acting when reprising her role as Miranda Priestly in the sequel to the 2006 film.

Apparently, Meryl went above and beyond for this project because she genuinely loves being on set. She said she’s moved past that period in her life and doesn’t want to dwell on it. She’s simply accepted what happened.

They’re the ones who helped me succeed before, and I just wouldn’t feel as secure working with anyone else. It’s about trust and knowing we can handle anything together.
