The first part of Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition is now available on Nintendo Switch 2! If you didn’t get a chance to play it when it originally came out on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S last year, you can enjoy it now.
This game delivers a strong experience within the Alien universe, functioning well as both a self-contained story and a piece of the larger film narrative. The ending leaves you wanting more, and we generally enjoyed it in our review. However, enemies were overly resilient, and the game could have benefited from more diverse weapons and puzzles. Despite these flaws, it successfully captures the tense and immersive atmosphere fans expect from a story about facehuggers and deadly aliens.
If you enjoy truly frightening games with challenging, fast-moving enemies, this title could be a great experience on the Switch. A new trailer for the Switch 2 version is available below, giving you a preview of the gameplay. It’s also coming to PlayStation 4, though a release date hasn’t been announced yet.
