Cryptic KPop Demon Hunters Tweet Inspires Fan Theories

Fans of KPop Demon Hunters have a lot to be excited about! A sequel is currently being made, and new merchandise and games will be released throughout the year. Plus, a mysterious tweet has sparked speculation among fans about even more potential projects in the future.

The speculation began when Rei Ami, the singer of the popular character Zoey from KPop Demon Hunters, tweeted, “end of an era…on 2 the next.” This message quickly sparked theories among fans. Some believe “end of an era” refers to the conclusion of performances for the first film’s music, suggesting the group is now beginning work on the soundtrack for a second film. Another idea is that the tweet is hinting at an upcoming tour. However, as of now, none of these theories have been officially confirmed.

What Should Fans Expect From KPop Demon Hunters 2?

The sequel will likely continue some storylines from the first movie, especially concerning the Honmoon. The main objective of HUNTR/X and all demon hunters is to achieve a fully Golden Honmoon, and although they nearly succeeded in the first film, it wasn’t quite complete by the end.

The main objective remains, but we also need to address several unresolved questions. Now that Gwi-Ma is gone, who will take over as the demons’ leader, and how will they respond to their loss against HUNTR/X? This new leadership could significantly alter the demons’ strategy and the upcoming conflicts in the film.

Rumi is still dealing with the emotional fallout from Jinu’s sacrifice. Plus, her relationships with Mira and Zoey have changed now that they know she’s half-human and half-demon. It also seems likely that her connection with Celine is strained, as Rumi demonstrated that keeping secrets isn’t a helpful way to handle things.

We need a new team to compete against, now that we’ve finished with the Saja Boys. It’s unclear who that will be – it could be another boy band, a girl group, or even a solo artist. Whatever the case, they’ll likely have a different approach than the Saja Boys, and we’re excited to see what our team creates to match them.

While a release date for KPop Demon Hunters 2 hasn’t been announced, the original film is currently available to watch on Netflix.
