Tyler Baltierra is detailing his and Catelynn Lowell‘s current reality.
Tyler recently shared an update on his relationship with the adoptive parents of Carly, the biological daughter of the Teen Mom stars, and explained how they currently communicate with her.
He confessed on the April 27th episode of the Cake For Dinner podcast that they aren’t actually in a relationship.
I created an email account for her, and Cate and I will be using it to stay in touch—it’s really our only form of communication right now,” Tyler explained.
The reality star explained that he and Catelynn—who gave their daughter Carly up for adoption in 2009—made the email address after Carly’s adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, finalized the adoption in 2023.
We created an email account for her, planning to share the login details if she ever wants to access it herself and review the messages at her own pace, he said.
And the 34-year-old shared that he and Catelynn, also 34, make sure their firstborn is “not forgotten about,” noting that the couple sends Carly email messages when they’re “thinking about her” or want to send photos of their younger kids: Nova, 11, Vaeda, 7, and Rya, 4.
But it’s in Carly’s hands when it comes to how much she wants to be involved with her birth parents.

Tyler and Catelynn made the tough decision to give their daughter, Carly, up for adoption when they were teenagers, believing it would give her a better life. However, Tyler has since shared that he later regretted that choice.
Tyler shared with Dr. Drew Pinsky on the season finale of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter that they hadn’t expected to achieve financial security. He explained they also didn’t realize they’d have the means to focus on their mental well-being and improve themselves before expanding their family.
I’ve been following these Teen Mom stars for years, and it’s been amazing to watch them grow! While one couple has built a beautiful family with three kids since their wedding in 2015, it’s been interesting to see how things have unfolded for the others. I’m excited to share an update on where everyone is at now…

Viewers first met Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra on the first season of 16 and Pregnant in 2009, when they made the heartbreaking decision to put their daughter, Carly, up for adoption. The couple, who are now married, tied the knot in August 2015 after 13 years together. They’ve since welcomed three more daughters: Novalee, Vaeda, and Rya.
Even though they still miss Carly, who lives with her adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, they remain hopeful and continue to work towards a better future.
Catelynn shared with TopMob News in January 2025 that she and Tyler want to respect their daughter’s wishes regarding their relationship. She said they’re open to any level of connection – whether it’s with her biological siblings, with them as her parents, or none at all. Ultimately, they want to prioritize what’s best for her as an adoptee and support whatever she needs.

Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards were still dating for less than six months when she found out she was pregnant, and their challenges as young parents were documented on the show 16 and Pregnant. Despite getting engaged, the couple broke up less than a year after their son, Bentley, was born in 2008.
Maci and Ryan are currently working on having a healthy co-parenting relationship. In 2023, she told TopMob News that things are going well, and Ryan is being more reliable as a father than in the past.

Maci met Taylor McKinney in 2012, and they quickly became partners in life. They started a family with the arrival of their daughter, Jayde, in May 2015, followed by their son, Maverick, a year later. They then got married in Florida in October of the same year.
They’re partners in life and business, running their fashion brand, TTM Lifestyle. In a 2023 interview with TopMob News, she described him as her soulmate, saying, ‘Even through difficult times, I always choose him. I genuinely like him. I’d rather work through disagreements with him than not have anyone to challenge me at all – even if I sometimes feel like I want to fight him!’

Even though they’ve both started dating other people, the stars from the MTV show The Challenge are still working together to raise their daughter, Ryder.
From the moment Cory became a part of Ryder’s life, we always discussed the kind of father and parent he wanted to be,” Cheyenne told TopMob News in March 2020. “I didn’t want him to be a dad who just provided fun experiences or focused on social media. He needed to be fully committed. I think he understood my expectations from the start, which is why we’re able to co-parent so effectively.

Cheyenne and Zach briefly separated in 2018 but decided to try again. She announced on Instagram, while celebrating her 28th birthday, that they were back together. They then welcomed their son, Ace, in May 2021, and got married in September 2022.
In 2024, Cheyenne told TopMob News that the past two years had been about achieving major life goals. They welcomed a baby, Ace, got married, and purchased a home – completing everything they’d hoped for.
She explained that she didn’t feel like doing anything or striving for any goals. All she wanted was to relax, be present, and enjoy the simple pleasure of each other’s company. She didn’t need anything more than that – just contentment and connection.
Cheyenne revealed she’s expecting her third child during an episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter that aired in May 2025.
Zach shared with Us Weekly that he and his partner had a lot of back-and-forth about having a baby. At times he wanted one, and then she did, but they weren’t always in agreement. Eventually, they both felt ready and decided to try.

It might seem unlikely to find love while filming a show like Ex on the Beach, but Cory and Taylor Selfridge, who also appeared on Are You the One?, have proven it’s possible. They’ve been together for several years and now have two daughters, Mila and Maya.
He told TopMob News in 2023 that he and his partner recently purchased a home. He then acknowledged the public’s interest in their potential wedding plans, saying they’ve discussed it and are working towards it. He explained they’ve made all the preparations except for the actual proposal and letting her know, adding that both he and his partner want that special moment, and they’re taking things one step at a time.

Shortly after marrying Mackenzie Standifer in May 2017, Ryan entered rehab. Their son, Jagger, was born in 2018 while Ryan was still receiving treatment.
Mackenzie and her husband had their daughter, Stella, in January 2020, but she filed for divorce three years after that.

After Ryan and Mackenzie ended their relationship, he began dating Amanda in 2023. A year later, while on vacation with his family, he proposed to her.
The pair welcomed daughter Presley in February 2025, seven months before announcing their marriage.

Though their often-difficult relationship ended in 2013, they continued to successfully raise their daughter, Leah, who is now a teenager.
Amber shared with TopMob News in January 2022 that while they enjoy spending time together, they maintain some space in the relationship. However, she emphasized that things are going well, and they now function more like a family than a traditional couple.
Families sometimes argue, and Amber and Gary clearly aren’t on good terms – Amber has made several accusations against him online. Her relationship with Leah has also been strained, and that’s been documented on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

After being together for several years, getting engaged, and appearing on the reality show Marriage Boot Camp—where they didn’t successfully resolve their issues—Amber and her fiancé, Matt Baier, who moved to Boston, ended their engagement in 2017.
Amber explained on Dr. Drew Pinsky’s podcast that she and her partner reached a breaking point where they stopped truly listening to each other and became emotionally detached. She admitted she stopped investing in the relationship and started building emotional walls to protect herself from further hurt.

Amber found love while filming Marriage Boot Camp with a crew member named Andrew Glennon. They first appeared as a couple at the 2017 MTV Movie Awards, and in May 2018, they welcomed their son, James.
Shortly after Amber’s arrest for domestic battery in July 2019, the couple split up. Following a difficult legal dispute, Andrew, who is from California, was granted full legal and primary physical custody of their son in 2022.
The reality TV star shared with TopMob News that she’s been working hard on personal growth and strengthening her bond with her kids. She explained that while she’s always been open about her history with addiction and mental health challenges, everyone deserves a chance to move forward and not be defined by past mistakes.
She refused to be discouraged, saying, “Even if life hasn’t been easy, if you’ve worked to grow into a stronger, kinder person, keep going – I will too. My love for my children drives me to keep fighting for them, and I never will stop.”

Amber met Dimitri Garcia online, and he first appeared on Teen Mom OG in April 2020. Amber described him as a handsome 39-year-old – ten years her senior – and explained that they connected online before deciding to meet in person because they liked each other.
During the April 2021 Teen Mom OG reunion, Amber shared that she was still seeing Dimitri, though they hadn’t been together in person for a year despite knowing each other for 18 months. Later, in June 2024, on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, she introduced her new boyfriend, Gary Wayt, signaling the end of her relationship with Dimitri, though they never formally announced a breakup.

Amber met Gary 2.0 on a dating app in the fall of 2023, and he quickly became more involved after she introduced him to her fellow cast members during an online conversation.
Although Gary proposed in May 2024, their engagement didn’t last long. During a trip to North Carolina for her brother’s wedding in June, he left following an argument, and Amber filed a missing person’s report.
And while Gary was soon located, the duo’s engagment wasn’t the only thing left broken.
Amber shared on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter that she went through a terrifying ordeal where she believed her fiancé had died. She spent three or four days mourning and struggling to understand why anyone would intentionally cause her such pain, explaining that she’s currently facing a very difficult time.
She explained, “He really hurt me. I was doing well, emotionally stable, for years. But now, for the first time in a long time, I feel completely lost, and it’s because getting engaged to him changed everything.”

Gary and Kristina Anderson had their daughter, Emilee, in April 2015, and later married in a lovely beach ceremony.
Oh my gosh, Gary said the sweetest thing on Instagram back in 2022! He actually wrote that I’m one of the most beautiful souls he knows, can you believe it?! And then he said he doesn’t even know how he’d manage life without me. I seriously replay that post in my head all the time, it just… gets me every time!

Farrah Abraham’s daughter, Sophia, was born in December 2008, two months after her father died in an accident.

After losing her high school boyfriend, Farrah’s first significant relationship was with real estate agent Simon Saran. They dated, with some breaks, for more than two years.
Their breakup in 2017 was really messy, even involving legal threats, but they did attempt to stay on good terms – at least, they tried.
Simon told TopMob News he wasn’t angry with Farrah, explaining they simply have different lifestyles. He said she prefers a glamorous, artificial world, while he values authenticity. He expressed his good wishes for her future success.

Jenelle Evans and Andrew Lewis, parents of Jace, separated shortly after he was born in 2009, and Jenelle wasn’t very involved in raising him.
Oh my gosh, it just breaks my heart hearing Jenelle talk about Jace’s dad! She said it best – she does feel bad, but she’s so protective of Jace, and honestly, she’s totally right to be! She doesn’t want him coming back into Jace’s life just to leave again. Like, can you imagine how devastating that would be for a kid? She just wants stability for her son, and I completely get it. It’s like she’s saying, ‘Please, don’t mess with my baby’s heart!’ I’m so proud of her for standing up for what’s best for Jace, even if it’s hard.

Jenelle has had a complex family life. She was married to Courtland Rogers for a year and had a son, Kaiser, with her former fiancé, Nathan Griffin, in 2014. Later, in September 2017, she married David Eason on their property in North Carolina. They had a daughter, Ensley, eight months prior to the wedding.
Following a difficult period where David faced a misdemeanor charge of child abuse concerning Jace – which Jenelle believed was a deliberate attempt to damage his reputation – she announced that they had split up.
She explained on social media that she would have gotten divorced immediately if North Carolina law hadn’t required a year of legal separation, and proof of living at two different addresses.
Their divorce was finalized in July 2025.

I’ll never forget when he asked Chelsea, his girlfriend at the time, when he could just ‘sign the papers’ to deal with their child – it was a really insensitive thing to say, and it always stuck with me. It felt so dismissive and cold.
Completely in the rearview.
Despite a difficult past, Teen Mom star and HGTV personality Chelsea Houska has a surprisingly good relationship with her high school ex, Adam Lind, who is the father of her oldest daughter, Aubree. She told Us Weekly that they have an open and positive connection with no lingering negative feelings, and they are able to comfortably see each other when their paths cross.

Chelsea and Cole DeBoer’s love story began with a chance encounter at a gas station in 2014, and they married in October 2016. They later welcomed their son, Watson, in 2017, and daughters Layne and Walker in 2018 and 2021. Now, the couple is sharing their life and design skills with their new HGTV series, Down Home Fab.
Chelsea said she wanted to return to television with a show that was fun, positive, and allowed her and her family to be themselves. She told TopMob News that’s why this project felt like the perfect fit, calling it a ‘cool opportunity’ to do just that.
Chelsea mentioned in June 2025 that many of her friends were finished having children, but she wasn’t sure she felt the same way. She told TopMob, ‘I don’t know if I’ll ever have that feeling,’ suggesting she might still want more children.

Leah Messer and Corey Simms tried to make their friendship into a lasting marriage, but the parents of twins Aleeah and Aliannah divorced just six months after getting married in October 2010.
Corey has been married to Miranda Patterson since 2013.

Leah married Jeremy Calvert, who works as a pipeliner, in 2012. They had a daughter, Adalynn, in 2013.
Despite ending their romantic relationship in 2015, they’ve tried to share parenting responsibilities for their daughter, though it hasn’t always been easy.
Leah shared with TopMob News that watching her daughters grow is like seeing a fuller, happier version of herself. She finds immense joy in supporting their passions and being involved in their lives, describing it as a magical experience. She especially loves being a mom to girls.

Leah and her daughters were already smitten with Jaylan Mobley, an officer in the United States Army, when they publicly announced their relationship on Instagram in 2021.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2022, but broke up that October.
Looking back, I really needed that split,” the Teen Mom star told TopMob News a year later. “I’ve grown a lot since then, and I feel like a new chapter in my life is starting.”

I’ve been following Kailyn Lowry for years, and it’s amazing to think back to how young she was when she first became a mom! She and Jo Rivera had their son, Isaac, way back in 2010, and she was only 17 at the time. It really shows how much she’s grown since then.
Although their romantic relationship didn’t last, Kailyn and Jo have successfully co-parented their son. They even built a comfortable enough relationship that Kailyn co-hosted the podcast Baby Mamas No Drama with Jo’s wife, Vee Torres, for several years. Kailyn reflected on their growth, posting on X after Jo and Vee’s 2018 wedding, “We’ve come a long way since we were 18,” and adding that she couldn’t ask for a better stepmother for their son, Isaac.

Kailyn’s son, Lincoln, was born in November 2013, about a year after she married Javi Marroquin. Kailyn was a star on Teen Mom 2 at the time.
The couple separated in late 2016, and their relationship since then has been challenging at times as they’ve both continued their lives.
Kailyn Lowry began dating Elijah Scott, while Javi Marroquin married Lauren Comeau in a small, private ceremony on Vero Beach, Florida, in April 2025. Lauren shared on Instagram that only Javi’s father, their children Eli and Maizee, and their pastor were present. They plan to have a larger reception with family and friends this summer. Lauren explained that everyone was supportive of the decision, and Javi’s mother had already been able to share in their sons’ milestones. They wanted the ceremony to be a special and intimate experience for their children and family, with Lauren’s father walking her down the aisle.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled to share heartwarming news! It feels like just yesterday this adorable couple had their beach wedding in June 2025, and now they’ve announced they’re expecting baby number three! Javi shared the sweetest message on Instagram in August, calling the baby the ‘best honeymoon souvenir.’ He went on to express how grateful he is to be on this journey again with his wife, praising her strength and how lucky they both are. It’s just lovely!

Kailyn and Chris had two sons, Lux and Creed, during their complicated relationship, but they ultimately broke up.
She told TopMob News in 2020 that they weren’t speaking at all. While she hoped things would improve eventually, she wasn’t expecting a major reconciliation. She has no ill will and simply wants the best for their children, whatever that looks like.

Kailyn felt she’d found a solid and lasting relationship with her partner, Elijah, a construction worker. She told People magazine that Elijah, father to her son Rio and twins Verse and Valley, is different from her previous partners. While his job is physically demanding – he works with concrete and isn’t afraid to get dirty – he’s also deeply devoted to family, both his own and theirs. Kailyn feels they’re a great match and he’s been a supportive partner.
A strong enough one that she finally said yes to one of his many proposals, in fact.
Kailyn told TopMob News in September 2024 that her now-partner, who was originally a neighbor, had proposed to her multiple times. She explained that she never rejected him, but always replied with, ‘Yes, but not yet.’
Ultimately, though, the timing wasn’t right, Kailyn revealing in July 2025 that they had split.
She explained on the Give them Lala podcast that she receives criticism for ending relationships with her children’s fathers. She clarified that she left those relationships because she doesn’t tolerate unacceptable behavior.

Kailyn has known Ike for a long time, going back to high school, but they didn’t become a couple until 2025, after she ended her relationship with Elijah.
She admitted in a January 2026 video for her Patreon subscribers that she hadn’t been looking for a serious relationship, but felt an instant connection after their first meeting. Both of them immediately understood what was happening between them.
Ike started living with Kailyn shortly after, a move she acknowledged might initially seem “selfish” to her children.
Honestly, it’s just obvious when there’s a connection, you can’t fake that spark! And for me, I need to feel good about myself first, you know? I can’t be the mom I want to be if I’m not happy as a woman. It’s not about needing a man to complete me, not at all! If you really look at my past… well, let’s just say every single one of them has ended in heartbreak. I deserve better, and I need to be okay on my own before I can give my all to anyone else.

Jade Cline, from Indiana, and Sean Austin have faced challenges since their daughter, Kloie, was born in 2017, but in January 2022, Jade hinted to her followers that things were getting better for them.
She told TopMob News that they’d experienced significant positive changes in their lives, particularly for Sean and his future. She expressed how proud she was of him and their current situation. They announced their engagement eight months later and married in October 2023.
Jade admitted in 2024 that her relationship isn’t flawless, but she emphasized that she and her partner share a strong love and are committed to making things work, according to TopMob News.

Ashley Jones and Bar Smith, who are both from California, got married in a private ceremony in 2021. They had welcomed their daughter, Holly, four years earlier.
But after calling off their romance several times, Ashley officially filed for divorce in 2024.
