Following Kagurabachi, These Three Shonen Series Should Finally Get Anime Adaptations

Ever since the first chapter was released, fans have been eagerly awaiting an anime adaptation of Kagurabachi. The manga is incredibly popular, so the news of the anime is really exciting. It has all the makings of a breakout hit and could become one of the most popular anime of its generation.

Looking at newer manga, Shonen Jump has several promising series that could be adapted into anime and become future hits. Three shonen series launched in the last three years have already shown great potential, and fans are eagerly awaiting their possible anime adaptations.

3) The Marshal King

Despite being temporarily paused, The Marshal King is a truly special series on Shonen Jump+. A big part of what makes it so good is the stunning art style, as it’s drawn by Boichi, the artist behind Dr. Stone. That’s why an anime adaptation would be a great fit, especially now that Dr. Stone‘s anime is finishing up with its final season – it could easily fill the gap!

Beyond its compelling story, this series is ripe for an anime adaptation because its unique blend of wild western, steampunk, and outlaw themes would make it stand out. The biggest question is whether an animation studio could live up to the stunning art style of the original manga by Boichi.

2) Hero Organization

With popular anime like My Hero Academia finishing up, now would be a great time to adapt Hero Organization. While some anime, like Kagurabachi, focus on darker themes of revenge, Hero Organization offers a more traditional heroic story, providing a nice contrast. The manga’s compelling story also makes it a strong candidate for adaptation.

This series takes place in the future, where humans are fighting alien creatures and trying to find a place to live among the stars. The story centers around a hero who pilots a giant robot to battle these monsters, offering a fresh, sci-fi take on classic heroic adventures. With enough chapters already available, it’s a strong contender for a successful anime adaptation and could become as popular as titles like Kagurabachi.

1) Ichi the Witch

With its growing popularity, an anime version of Ichi the Witch seems likely, especially since it’s becoming one of Shueisha’s most promising new series, much like Kagurabachi. In fact, excitement for Ichi the Witch is already building to a level comparable to the hype around Kagurabachi‘s anime. The series has all the hallmarks of a classic shonen manga, but with a fresh and unique twist.

Similar to what happened with the Kagurabachi anime, fans are eager to find out which studio will animate Ichi the Witch. Many are hoping a well-known studio takes on the project. Once the anime is officially announced – and it could be very soon – it has the potential to become the next big hit from Shonen Jump, following in the footsteps of Kagurabachi.
