Kathy Hilton Reveals She Was Tricked by AI Celebrity Jello-O Diet

Kathy Hilton has got to learn to read the room when it comes to online ads.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared that she fell for an AI-generated scam, believing a diet was supported by celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, and Kelly Clarkson. She described it as a “small issue,” but admitted she had been tricked by the false promotion.

You won’t believe some of the things people try! I recently heard from Kathy, who shared that she tried a Jell-O diet – and it’s surprisingly popular with celebrities. Apparently, Oprah, Michelle Obama, and Kelly Clarkson have all been trying this new version, which includes a mix of Jell-O, vinegar, and baking soda. It’s definitely a unique approach to wellness, and she mentioned it on the ‘Real Housewives’ reunion show.

The 67-year-old initially believed the diet worked because she lost a couple of pounds right away, but she explained to her co-stars – Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, and Bozoma Saint John – that it actually made her feel unwell.

She explained that it completely disrupted her body and caused severe bloating, making it impossible to fit into her clothes.

Kathy, mother to Paris, Nicky, Barron, and Conrad Hilton, eventually discovered she’d been misled. She realized everything was created using artificial intelligence.

Indeed, Oprah has shut down any association with the debunked diet.

According to a statement to Today on May 1st, Oprah’s team wants viewers to be careful about content claiming to be associated with her. They clarified that unless something is posted directly on her official Instagram page (@oprah), she isn’t involved with it, and people should be cautious about sharing personal information or buying related products.

Oprah Winfrey has publicly supported the use of GLP-1 medications to help manage her weight for quite some time.

She explained to People magazine in December 2023 that she now uses the medication only when she needs it, helping her avoid cycles of weight loss and gain. Having a doctor-approved option for managing her weight and improving her health feels like a huge relief and a positive turning point, and she’s no longer ashamed to use it, especially after past criticism.

Oprah added, “I’m absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself.”

The country singer shared that his looks have caused him to question himself many times, even with all his success.

He shared on a February 2026 episode of The New York Times’ Popcast podcast that he was confident in his ability to perform well, put on a great show, and write enjoyable songs. However, he also admitted his biggest fear was being overlooked simply because of his appearance – that he might not get a chance to prove himself.

I’ve been following Luke’s fitness journey, and he often talks about it like he’s trying to solve a really difficult puzzle. It’s been tough for him, but surprisingly, he’s really against using weight loss drugs like GLP-1s, even to help him reach his goals.

He said he’s more worried about the risks than excited about any possible rewards. He’s determined to lose weight, but he wants to do it in a healthy, sustainable way, not through a quick fix.

He finished by saying it was perfectly fine for others to do things differently, as it’s a matter of personal preference. However, for him personally, his focus was on achieving victory and surpassing his own limitations.

The Bravo host detailed his health and fitness journey using an Ozempic-like drug.

Okay, so I have to tell you guys, I finally did it! This summer, I lost a good amount of weight, and it’s all thanks to trying a GLP-1. I was seriously so unhappy with how I looked and felt. I talked it over with my doctor last year, and he’d actually suggested it a few times – not just for the weight, but because I also have some artery issues and high blood pressure. Honestly, it’s a medication that can really help with so many things, and I finally decided to give it a shot. I’m so glad I did!

He added that it was a big help in managing his cravings, which had been a real struggle, and motivated him to be more disciplined with his diet and exercise.

The singer shared in November 2024 that he had lost 120 pounds.

Jelly Roll explained that he openly discussed his challenges because he wants to be honest with others about his struggles, as he shared on his wife Bunnie XO’s podcast, Dumb Blonde.

He explained that his success wasn’t because of his weight, but rather despite it – he overcame that challenge to achieve what he did.

The talk show host has been feeling healthier lately. After learning she was pre-diabetic, she started prioritizing her health and lost weight. She told People magazine that she’s been following her doctor’s advice, something she hadn’t done consistently for a couple of years. She also mentioned that a protein-rich diet works well for her and she sticks to it most of the time.

She is a Texas girlie after all, “so I like meat—sorry, vegetarians in the world!”

The mother of River and Remington is settling into her new life in New York City and enjoying the change of pace. She joked that walking around the city is great exercise, and she’s been focusing on wellness, recently getting into infrared saunas and even a cold plunge after a lot of encouragement from friends.

She decided against taking the popular weight loss drugs, even though her doctor encouraged it for two years. As she shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show in May 2024, she was hesitant due to existing thyroid issues. While many assume it was Ozempic, she clarified she’s taking a different medication – one that helps her body process sugar more effectively.

Everyone’s getting health advice from a media icon who’s feeling fantastic! She shared her secrets with Entertainment Tonight, explaining that her healthy lifestyle isn’t about one specific thing – it’s a combination of regular treadmill workouts, hiking, drinking plenty of water, and eating nutritious foods. She emphasized that it’s truly everything working together.

Oprah Winfrey recently shared that she’s using a weight loss medication, and expressed relief that such options are now available. In an interview with People magazine, she said it feels like a “gift” and allows her to move past the shame and ridicule she’s experienced in the past, both from others and herself. She emphasized that she’s finished with self-shaming and external criticism regarding her weight.

The HGTV personality demonstrated a remarkable life change by sharing details of his two-year fitness journey in an Instagram post from July 2023.

He explained that sometimes what feels like the right path actually requires a change in direction to truly improve. While he used to do hot yoga with his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, he realized he wasn’t consistently working out, monitoring his diet, or getting professional advice.

Nutritionist Sean Torbati emphasizes the importance of both diet and exercise for overall well-being. The father of three shared that he focuses on eating healthy and practicing hot yoga once or twice a week, which he finds beneficial for both his mental and physical health. He believes that staying motivated and persistent are key to success.

He had a turning point when he truly understood how much he desired to feel good and be healthy – not just for himself, but for his family and future. That’s when he fully committed and started working towards it!

The cohost of The View shared that she used Mounjaro, a medication for type 2 diabetes, to lose weight after gaining weight in 2021.

She revealed on a recent talk show that she once weighed close to 300 pounds. She explained that she had previously used steroids and other substances, and that the weight loss drug Mounjaro has been a key part of her weight loss journey.

The Grammy-winning artist is aware people noticed her impressive body transformation, which she achieved through a combination of diet, exercise, and a weight loss medication that works with the body’s natural systems.

In a March 2025 Instagram post, she shared that she’s been prioritizing her health after her second pregnancy. She worked with a nutritionist, made significant changes to her daily routine, and began exercising with a personal trainer. She also mentioned using medication (Mounjaro) along with professional support, and is happy with the positive results, saying she feels great.

The reality TV star is confident in herself, with or without anyone’s approval. She recently addressed rumors about weight loss, posting on Instagram in February, “I really don’t like talking about this, but I haven’t had any surgery or medical procedures to lose weight.”

Although she’s lost 100 pounds, bringing her weight down from 385 to 285, including 50 pounds after her mother, Barbara “Babs” Thore, passed away in December 2022, she’s been at 285 pounds for nearly a year.

Ultimately, she said, she appreciated the compliments but wasn’t comfortable focusing on appearances, either for herself or others.

The actress, known for her attractiveness everywhere she goes, recently shared her thoughts on body image in a February Instagram post.

The Food Network host shared a bikini photo from 2014 and talked about body image, saying she weighs 150 pounds on a 5’4″ frame. She explained she stopped weighing herself because society’s definition of ‘overweight’ doesn’t make sense to her, and she regrets letting those standards affect her for so long.

Oh my gosh, she gets it! She said she finally understands she’s a good person – kind, funny, thoughtful – now that she’s stopped obsessing over diets. And it hit me so hard when she said this: please, please remember who you are as a person, your heart and your character, shouldn’t be hidden by a number on a scale! You are worthy, you are enough, exactly as you are right now. It’s like she was speaking directly to me, and honestly, to all of us who’ve ever struggled with this!

As for anyone that might not agree, she summed up, “F–k ‘em.”

Okay, seriously, this musician? He’s absolutely glowing since losing 55 pounds! He posted on Instagram in April 2023 and everyone’s been asking how he’s doing, especially about how it’s affecting his shows. But he basically said he’s having the time of his life on stage and honestly, he’s never felt better. It’s like the weight loss just unlocked a whole new level of energy for him, and it’s amazing to watch!

He explained that becoming a father in 2022 was his motivation for making healthier choices. He decided to give up soda and improve his diet so he could be there for his daughter for a long time. He plans to quit smoking and cut back on alcohol next, but considers himself a patient person and is taking things one step at a time.

Oh my gosh, she totally felt the pressure to get back in shape after little Sidney arrived in November 2022! She actually told TopMob News it became her whole mission – losing 85 pounds! Can you believe it? And honestly, she said she was completely obsessed with it, not for anyone else, but because she just wanted everyone to stop talking about her body and leave her alone. It’s so relatable, honestly! She just wanted to be left to enjoy being a mom!

She’s not suggesting everyone follow her intense method, but it worked for her. “It took a lot of effort and wasn’t enjoyable,” she admitted. “I was constantly hungry, but I’m pleased with how it turned out.”

The actor, known for his role in Roseanne, has experienced many ups and downs with his health. He used to lose a significant amount of weight quickly, then fall back into unhealthy habits. As he explained in 2017, he’s now focusing on a slower, more sustainable approach, incorporating movement and exercise into his routine, recognizing the importance of staying active as he gets older.

He’s kept off 200 pounds by focusing on a healthy lifestyle: plenty of walking and a diet inspired by the Mediterranean, with lots of fish, vegetables, and nuts. As he told Men’s Health, it’s an ongoing commitment, but one he enjoys.

After my dad and brother both passed away from heart attacks, and then I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I knew I needed to make a change. That’s when I decided to really focus on eating healthier – it felt like the right thing to do.

He told Entertainment Tonight that his secret to success was cutting out all carbohydrates. He explained he avoids everything from bread and pizza to corn and beans, and even limits himself to egg whites or Greek yogurt with a little fruit for breakfast. He admitted to a few slip-ups, but generally sticks to a completely carb-free diet, not even allowing a single cracker.

And to wash it all down, “I don’t drink anything but water,” he said. “No coffee, no tea, no soda.”

After losing an incredible 440 pounds, the star of 1000-lb Sisters has achieved some amazing new experiences, which have been shared on her TLC show. These include flying on a plane, being able to use a seatbelt and ride in the front seat of a car, enjoying a hot air balloon ride, and going on rides at Disney World.

In a recent TikTok video, Slaton shared how much it means to her to be able to do everyday things like buckle a seatbelt without needing an extension. She explained that she hadn’t been able to manage simple tasks like that for years, and doesn’t take being able to do them for granted.

I’m really proud of what I’ve accomplished,” the reality star explained. “I’ve lost the weight and I’m finally enjoying life, and that’s something to celebrate.”

The former Vanderpump Rules star is focusing on health and wellness. She’s back on the Jenny Craig plan and hoping to see progress, but her main goal is to be a healthy role model for her son. She told TopMob News in February that while losing weight would be nice, it’s more important to show her and Jax Taylor’s son, Cruz, how to live a healthy lifestyle.

The future star of The Valley explained, “I want to model a healthy lifestyle for him. Taking care of my body through exercise is really important, both physically and for my mental well-being. I believe everyone benefits from prioritizing a healthy lifestyle.”

All her hard work and dedication to strength training has clearly paid off for the musician, resulting in a noticeable physical transformation.

In a 2023 interview with People magazine, the star shared how proud they are of their progress. They explained that staying fit is now a key part of their daily life, and they’ve consistently prioritized their health through regular exercise and dedication.

She’s been working really hard, and mentioned she might start offering intense workout sessions, which she playfully calls ‘Hottie Bootcamp.’ She described one of these workouts as a challenging mix of exercises like deadlifts, jump rope, lunges, and mountain climbers. In a video, she jokingly said the workout is incredibly tough, ‘It really burns!’ but added that it’s effective, saying, ‘You can see the results in your thighs!’

When the pandemic began in March 2020, just a few months after the former Pretty Little Liars star had her first daughter, Atlas, she admitted to TopMob News that she felt incredibly unmotivated. With everything suddenly stopping, she decided to just let go of trying.

She abandoned her workout routine and healthy eating habits when the pandemic hit. After months of indulging in unhealthy food during 2020, she realized it was affecting how she felt about her body and longed to feel good again.

She was excited but also a little doubtful when she heard about trying Openfit’s 4 Weeks of Focus program with trainer Kelsey Heenan.

After consistently starting her day for a month with warm water and lemon, plus a 30-minute workout – a mix of HIIT, cardio, and strength training – she realized the benefits. She adopted a flexible approach to healthy eating, allowing herself treats while still making good choices (“If I want pizza, I’ll have pizza and add some spinach!”). She was genuinely surprised by the results. “I couldn’t believe how much stronger I was getting,” she said. “I’ve always been active, but I’d never lifted weights that heavy before.”

I’ve been following this amazing fitness influencer, Fat Girl Fed Up, for a while now, and what I love most is her perspective. She’s always working hard and pushing herself, but she doesn’t let setbacks ruin her progress. She recently shared on Instagram that she didn’t quite reach her weight goal of getting below 200 pounds, but instead of getting discouraged, she decided to celebrate anyway! It’s so inspiring to see her focus on the bigger picture and not sweat the small stuff.

She reminded herself that any step forward counts, even if it’s a small one. She acknowledged a tough week of effort, but stayed positive, recognizing that weight gain didn’t happen instantly, so weight loss wouldn’t be instant either. Her mantra was to simply keep moving forward, regardless of the challenges.

As a lifestyle expert, I always tell people that achieving your health goals is absolutely possible! I often say to myself, ‘I will reach my ideal state of wellbeing – whether it happens quickly or takes time, I know I’ll get there.’ It’s all about staying consistent, believing in your own power, and focusing on making progress, not striving for impossible perfection. It’s a journey, and every step counts!

The Queer Eye star made significant progress with their health and fitness goals, allowing them to advance to more challenging gymnastics routines.

In an August 2022 TikTok video showcasing their impressive weight loss, they revealed they started working with a nutritionist in April and have since lost 35 pounds. They explained their motivation was to adjust their physique for their gymnastics career.

They also warned not to expect immediate results. The author of Love That Story shared that it took three weeks of consistent effort before they noticed any difference. So, if you’re trying to change your fitness or diet, be prepared to work at it for about three weeks before seeing progress.

I was so excited to see her really commit to a new fitness plan before she turned 30 in 2022. It felt like a fresh start and a dedication to her well-being, and I’ve been following her journey ever since!

The actor, who is married to model Barbara Palvin, shared on Instagram that he used to be self-conscious enough to wear a shirt while swimming as a child. He explained that this led him to decide in his late twenties he wanted to transform his physique and build muscle, calling this post his ‘meat head post’.

He described the training with weights and kettlebells as a difficult but rewarding process, adding that he’s proud of how far he’s come and still has more to achieve.

Everyone has ups and downs, and sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned. This became clear when the actress openly shared on Instagram in January 2024 that she had regained weight – 30 pounds, to be exact – after successfully reaching her goal of 75 kilograms in 2020.

Wilson admitted she’s been struggling to maintain her healthy habits due to a busy filming schedule. She’s worked hard to overcome emotional eating and switch to a diet focused on protein instead of carbs, but it’s been difficult to keep up with her boxing and hiking workouts.

Wilson confessed that stress caused them to gain weight, and this made them feel down about themselves, even though they knew it shouldn’t. “It just does,” they said.

Giving up his favorite beers? No problem. And dedicating himself to intense daily workouts – P90X, kickboxing, and running – as he told Men’s Journal? Absolutely.

For Chris Pratt, the most challenging aspect of his 60-pound weight loss – going from his role as Andy Dwyer in Parks and Recreation to a superhero in Guardians of the Galaxy – wasn’t the exercise, but the massive amount of water he had to drink. He consumed one ounce of water for every pound he weighed each day.

“I was peeing all day long, every day,” he explained. “That part was a nightmare,”

Even though Paul Rudd was already well-known, like Cher Horowitz might say, he realized fans were surprised to learn he’d be playing the new Marvel hero, Ant-Man.

Paul Rudd has said that when he was cast in the movie, many people were surprised, reacting with something like, ‘Paul Rudd? A superhero? Seriously?’ He shared this with Variety magazine back in 2015.

He understood his task perfectly. He described his training method as similar to Chris Pratt’s for an action film: dedicate a year to strict, joyless work, and then you can convincingly play the hero.

After having her older children, the author of the Just Eat book returned to the South Beach diet to help her feel like herself again. She told TopMob News that the high-protein plan worked quickly. “I started the program, worked out, and immediately felt better,” she said.

Before focusing on anything else, she cherishes the time immediately after giving birth. Decker, a mother of four – Vivianne, Eric Jr., Forrest, and newborn Denver (born February 2024) – emphasizes, “New moms should prioritize recovery, not weight loss.” She advises mothers to focus on feeding and bonding with their babies and allowing their bodies to heal. “Don’t worry about losing weight,” she says. “Your body will tell you when it’s ready. Ignore any pressure to lose weight and listen to your body – you’ll naturally feel when you have the energy to be active again.”

He’s been enjoying the results of his workouts, including a noticeable six-pack. His 90-minute training sessions and improved diet – focusing on lean protein, plenty of vegetables, and cutting out sugary drinks – have been key. As he told People magazine, it’s all about eating truly healthy food.

What truly motivates him is achieving his adventurous goals. He shared, “Beyond acting, I’m focused on outdoor challenges—like rock climbing in Yosemite, which means getting in shape. A major dream of mine is to hike the Pacific Crest Trail, a long route that stretches from Mexico to Canada along the American coast and back.”

After giving birth to her daughter Kingsley in September 2022, the actress known for Twilight realized something important: her body had changed, and she was working on accepting that. She shared this in an Instagram post in January 2023, saying she didn’t think her body would ever be quite the same, and she was learning to be okay with it.

If she ever feels overwhelmed, she has a coping strategy that’s just as valuable as getting back into her exercise routine after having a baby.

She told TopMob News that looking into her daughter’s eyes – whom she affectionately calls her “sweet angel” – helps her focus on gratitude instead of being overly critical of herself. She considers this a helpful trick, because it’s easy to be self-critical no matter what you do.
