Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City will be excited to see some of the show’s most memorable stars back together in a first look at TopMob’s upcoming series, The Golden Life. It promises to be a stylish and engaging new show.
How are former Real Housewives of New York stars Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, and Kelly Bensimon adjusting to life in South Florida? They’re doing fantastic!
Dorinda jokingly says they’ve been staying out of the drama, and Kelly chimes in, saying she’s finding peace and calm.
Even though Sonja claims they’re no longer causing trouble, the preview shows that drama always seems to find them.
During a heated argument, Luann accused Sonja of being second choice, claiming a man had proposed to her first. Sonja immediately countered, stating he had also asked her to marry him.
Dorinda jokingly tells Ramona to prioritize finding a husband over focusing on a boyfriend, highlighting that others are also involved in the drama.
Whether it’s dramatic lunches or lively vacations, these reality TV favorites are back to their old, unforgettable ways – and they’re still bringing the same energy and flair as ever.
As Luann tells a tipsy Sonja, “I can smell your barf.”
Through all the chaos though, their bond still holds strong.
Dorinda recently told TopMob News that what she loves about the group is their unwavering bond. She described them as resilient and constantly active, always moving forward despite any challenges they face.
What can viewers anticipate when the show finally arrives later this year? Expect plenty of drama – the Florida heat won’t be the only thing rising!
To be real, we’re all pretty headstrong people,” Dorinda said. “If you keep us together in one place for very long, someone’s bound to get irritated. It’s just how we are.
However, she added, “I think that makes us kind of great.”

In the meantime, keep reading to see TopMob’s official ranking of every Housewife in Bravo history.

Bravo’s Washington D.C. reality show featured four women—Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner—who didn’t exactly make a lasting impression. It also included one woman so eager for attention that she actually crashed a party at the White House. We’ll be talking about her story later.

Who?

Vaguely familiar, but…

Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.

This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.

The newest cast member on The Real Housewives of Utah had a dramatic and short-lived run on the show. In January 2022, Jennie was let go after old, offensive Facebook posts with racially insensitive content came to light. She later issued an apology, but the show had already decided to remove her from the cast.

Her defining trait was “cougar.”

Dr. Jen didn’t cause much drama during season 16, and her short-lived marital issues with her husband, Ryne, weren’t very exciting. But we’ll always remember her getting noticeably drunk on wine at the Dubrows’ incredibly awkward—but surprisingly fun—dinner party.

As a huge fan, let’s just say the first season of the nurse anesthetist’s show was…rough. Honestly, it all boils down to one incredibly awkward moment – something the fandom has already dubbed ‘Esophagus-gate’ – and I really hope we can move past it!

Katie frequently talked about her charitable efforts, but didn’t offer much else when filming. She seemed to make brief appearances and didn’t really engage with the other cast members as a friend. Plus, leaving the cast trip early is a major breach of etiquette in the world of reality television.

Charrisse is mostly remembered for her highly publicized marital issues during her two seasons on the show, as well as her famously lavish champagne room.

A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?

Although it was refreshing to see some new faces on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Peggy quickly became a source of frustration in season 12. She often started arguments over minor misunderstandings and seemed unable to handle the drama, as demonstrated by her decision to isolate herself during the Iceland trip – ultimately suggesting she wasn’t suited for the lifestyle.

Nneka’s first season on the show focused on a surprising and dramatic conflict: she claimed Wendy Osefo’s mother practiced witchcraft. It was a letdown, as many viewers hoped to see Nneka and Wendy connect through their Nigerian heritage instead of being caught in this unresolved feud.

Noella brought a lot of energy to season 16, though it felt chaotic at times. Viewers were interested in her personal life – she was going through a divorce when filming began, with her husband, James, leaving the country – but it was her ongoing conflict with Heather Dubrow that really kept her from being seen as the least engaging cast member. Perhaps with more time on the show, viewers will connect with Noella.

She went from being a peacemaker in her first season to facing accusations of anti-Semitism and complaining about a cake in her second—and final—season. It’s hard to think of a Real Housewife who lost popularity so quickly.

It seemed like Amber and her husband, Jim, were acting out of desperation. And Jim appeared to be more caught up in the drama than Amber, which didn’t look good for him.

From what we recall, Karent was a dentist, and it seems her colleagues didn’t get along with her. Moving on!

This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.

Jules was only on RHONY for one season, so it’s hard to place her higher on a ranking, but she definitely brought the drama during her time on the show.

It’s rare for a new cast member to be disliked so quickly, but Amanda Francis, who joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in season 15, definitely earned the swift disapproval of many Bravo viewers. “Hate” might be a strong word, but it’s hard to think of anyone fans disliked faster.
Amanda, who presents herself as a financial advisor and calls herself the “Money Queen,” alienated both her fellow cast members and viewers. People were turned off by her focus on possessions and the often-doubtful financial guidance she offered.
What really showed she wasn’t suited for the show was her unwillingness to confront her fellow cast members. Being a Housewife is a tough role, and it’s not for everyone.

So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.

Similar to her colleague Sara Al Madani, Nina showed how a successful Arab woman can balance a modern lifestyle with her cultural heritage. She generally stayed out of the season’s conflicts and sometimes didn’t get as much attention as the more outgoing personalities on the show.

Taleen joined the second season of RHODubai and made a positive impression, but it’s hard to fully evaluate her after just one season.

Angel really struggled during her time on the show, to put it mildly. As the wife of former NFL player Bobby Massie, she consistently faced challenges in season 10 and couldn’t quite connect with the other, more established cast members, who seemed to enjoy watching her attempts to fit in fall flat.
Even though things didn’t go perfectly, it’s quite a story that her glamping trip in Colorado resulted in the group getting lost and having to eat gas station food.
Definitely a first for the Housewives.

Though known from America’s Next Top Model, she didn’t make a big impact on The Real Housewives of Atlanta beyond being pregnant for most of her time on the show. She did deliver an iconic read to Marlo Hampton while in Tokyo, though!

Generally, new Housewives need to be on the show for a few seasons before we consider ranking them highly. But Katie made a huge impact right away on season 18 of RHOC, immediately challenging established Housewife Heather Dubrow. It takes guts to question someone like Ms. Dubrow!

To be frank, Stephanie wasn’t a favorite of ours. Although she had the potential to be a compelling Housewife due to her wealth, her habit of flaunting her private jet and using it to control the other women on season seven didn’t sit well with us.
Maybe Steph can redeem herself if she returns for season eight.

Sara had a naturally optimistic and positive attitude, which made her a joy to be around, though things were usually quite calm around her – except for the time she gave her co-star, Caroline Brooks, some parenting advice that wasn’t well-received. More importantly, as a tech entrepreneur, she challenged common ideas about modern Muslim women in the Middle East, and that’s something to celebrate.

The new cast members on season 13 of RHONJ quickly fell into the familiar pattern of New Jersey Housewives, getting caught up in a season-long, ultimately meaningless argument that even Andy Cohen called out as pointless. Sadly, they didn’t offer much more depth or substance in season 14 either.
